Terrible customer service and no refund

My flight was cancelled by Batik Air and refunded to me via my booking agent.

I booked my meals and seats directly with the airline and have not received a refund.
I politely spoke to two customer service reps today who both hung up on me.
I have sent emails, all of which have been unanswered. Show details

One of the worst airline on the planet

One of the worst airlines on the planet. I would rather walk or swim the ocean to my destination than coming with Batik air. Poor service, 6 hours of flight they take your water right before boarding the plane then they ask you to pay for a glass of water. Poor air conditioner, everyone were sweating during the flight. Horrible experience!

BEWARE BATIK AIR

On holiday to Bali on return flight $700 Aus was stolen from checked locked bag at Bali Airport filed a report same day BATIK NOT INTERESTED They just emailed report resolved and closed all portals so cannot communicate again we are both pensioners one disabled(had to fly business class) 77 & 80 age Batik dont give a damn WILL NEVER USE OR PROMOTE THEM EVER AGAIN Also paid $1765 for ticket & cabin crew sold 5 upgrades to business class $100 & $150 a seat after takeoff CASH ONLY HELLO!!! Show details

Appalling

The absolute worst business class flight I have ever had. A two hour flight from Jakarta to a regional Indonesian city. Only drinks offered were warm water, tea or coffee. No juice or soft drink available. The lounge at Jakarta the same. The limited food on offer seemed tired and unappealing.

The stewards on the flight hid after the meal service. Flight left very late. No updates over the PA. One way fare was $750. Never again. Show details

Cancelled booking

Bakit Air changed our flight booking Adelaide to Bali by 1 hr ,thats ok,
We booked hotel,car parking at Airport,as we live 2 hours away.
Then they have cancelled the flight, its 8 months away in December.The return trip with Virgin nows is not direct it goes via Melbourne,
We booked direct!!!

Don’t even bother

Nightmare booking process where the system ticketed the incorrect date (the date of booking) and wouldn’t reissue ticket based on the original date booked (with proof of choice I made as I had taken a photo prior to making payment). Unbelievable and worst service ever - do not book with Batik !! Show details

Unbelievable charging for wheelchair service

My mum flight from KL to Melbourne today and mum is elder have request a wheelchair.
We don't be told this service have to be pay and just charge us RM 261 last minute when my mum get through security gate.
can't believe that this service will be charging even we don't charge flying with budget airlines like AirAsia.
Batik air this is the first time my mum flight with you and also the last time flight with you ...good luck to batik air.. Show details

Substandard airline

Batik OD 197. Perth to Auckland. Substandard service at its best. This is the worst airlines we have ever flown with, don’t expect to be offered a glass of water let alone coffee or tea cause you won’t get it. The flight attendants are rude and need training in customer service !! It’s worth paying extra money for an airlines that’s going to offer their customers a better service. Show details

Consider another airline other than Batik Air

Basically I will NEVER travel with Batik Air ever again. I kept on receiving delay notifications even for part thereof (whilst in transit) from Melbourne to Kathmandu, whilst in KL waiting for my next leg I received a notification the next leg was delayed by 2.5 hours. We were kept on the plane for over 2 hours in Denpasar (was told we could not leave the plane), no water was offered, however they did fill my water bottle when I asked. The flight attendants tried their best with what they had to work with - actually I felt sorry for them. The food was appealing and definitely no healthy options. Kudos to the pilots for getting us to our destination safely. Definitely low budget and whatever you pay for a ticket is still too much. Show details

Is there priority check in and boarding for business class passengers with Batik at Perth and Denpasar airports please?

At Perth airport there is priority check in for business class, however, most Batik Air planes offer only economy class similar to Jetstar Australia. Hope it helps.
