Update August 2015
I have been a member at various gyms for about fifeteen years and a Member at Marion for the past five. I rate it as the best of the lot. There are a lot of regulars (both very fit, average & pensioners) who have gone there for many years, which I feel is a good recommendation for any gym. I mainly do group fitness classes which are Les Mills based and find all the teachers (Mandy in particular is one of the best anywhere) are knowledgeable, very fit & have lot of energy. As with ALL gyms it takes a few months to get the hang of classes and fe...Read more
el comfortable. If you can persevere through this the results/fitness/strength can be life changing. Update August 2015: I am still a member and still doing group fitness classes. YMCA took over the management of the Gym from CASA in 2015. Some minor changes and a few more rules. Fortunately most of the really great instructors stayed. I would rate nearly all as very good to exceptional motivators. There are now many gyms within several kilometres so competition and pricing is quite intense. The over fifties classes are well attended and very sociable. The crèche has always been one of the best anywhere. A++++. The weights room has a lot of well maintained equipment with a good mix of members at all levels of strength/fitness Yearly fees are very, very reasonable. This is an ethical, well managed, good straight forward type of gym with no hard sell. Equipment is good quality, well maintained and in the right numbers. There are a good number of classes. There is normally easy parking. Staff are professional and if you go on a regular basis will make make a point of remembering your name. I have no dislikes and will continue my membership hopefully for many years to come.Similar opinion? Write a review on ProductReview.com.au!

One of the best gyms in Adelaide
This is one of the friendliest and very supportive gyms that is out there. Never had a problem in the 7 or so years that I was a member. The only reason why I left is due to moving away from the area. The gym I am attending at present could learn alot from Marion (CASA Leisure). The Manager and staff at Marion is very approachable, friendly, willing to help and they can have a laugh with the members. In fact all CASA Leisure centres are great.
Friendly, fun, change tracks regularly in group fitness, approachable staff & members, relaxed, comfortable
Not a centre in my current location

poor service
Just poor service, whoever runs the show needs a zumba up the but. Some staff are good but have heard too many winges from staff about management.
Could be better maintained some equipment is dated and cleanliness in the wash rooms could be better, Not sure about community (council owned) rec centres being managed by profit hungry corporate entities.
Ok facilities
Poor service, equipment is dated and cleanliness in the wash rooms is poor
