The mower is made from inferior materials. The mild steel is only thin and all the casing and attachments are cracking and falling apart. It is terrible to use having a manual clutch meaning you have to stop and dis-engage to make changes. The centre cutting platform is hard to get used to when mowing curves. I have had the mower 2 years and have… Read more

had to repair it 6 monthly. Now that the case is cracked from vibration it will need major welding. I wish to warn people it would be better to buy a sheep than this junk.

Happy Customer – As someone who has never owned a ride on mower the first time was a bit daunting but once I understood how to operate the mower it is now "Easy Peasy" to mow. It's just a basic model with no bells and whistles but does everything you need for the price. Would definitely recommend this product. Show details

Does the job – Had my 24" for over a year. Not a hiccup. Pity it can't cut in reverse but overall happy. Show details

Poor quality, poor design – I didn't expect much from this mower, seeing as it's just a "home owner" model but I didn't even get that. The mower eats cutting deck belts faster than a stoner eating Doritos; the steering is squeaky and rattly; the tyres are poor quality and prone to punctures. To be fair to Masport, a lot of the issues actually stem from the Briggs &… Read more

Stratton motor: it's very underpowered and prone to stalling, even for moderately easy mowing; the choke-less "Easy Start" actually makes it harder to start; access to the spark plug is partially blocked by the exhaust; B&S thought it was a good idea to hang the CDI coil off two large cast aluminium standoffs which are screwed into a cast aluminum crankcase - as you can imagine the threads stripped out just from basic use forcing me to helicoil the crankcase to repair it; the battery constantly goes flat and I don't think it's getting charged from anywhere, the list goes on. I'll be selling this asap (now I've finally gotten it running again!) and buying something better.
