always make someone to sit in the back AND the fear of not paying attention to the road because I always need to monitor him in the mirror, then pull over and adjust his head if im alone, accelerate so slowly to the point of being victim to road raging people behind me. NIGHTMARE!
Not recommended, experiencing head flop! – This car seat is dangerous, my daughter experiences head flop when sleeping in this car seat due to how low the base is. This product should be recalled. have not received a response. They are aware of this issue and recently pulled the product off the shelf when I went to baby bunting to check my car seat but after visiting baby bunting again yesterday to question them regarding this issue they have recently changed the fabric due to how unbreathable it is but didn't address the head flop issue with the base of the car seat is still so low. Australian consumer laws entitle me to a refund as the product is not deemed safe and I have state this to maxi Cosi. This company does not care for the safety of your child, please invest your money else where as I have wasted $500 on this car seat which I can no longer use!

Regret buying this seat – We recently purchased this seat for our 4 month old. He absolutely HATES it!!! He screams and cries non stop every car ride. We’ve tried with and without the insert, he still hates it. The magnets… who designed these magnets??? They’re a joke!!!! They don’t hold the straps at all (even when the straps are loosened enough to actually reach them)… Read more
which makes getting baby into the seat very difficult. I just don’t understand how maxi cosi could overlook this. Position… Baby sits far too upright in this seat. His neck bends forward (especially with the infant insert) which is a breathing hazard. It’s also unnatural and very uncomfortable. The body insert means baby’s arms are raised and he’s not able to play with his toys. The sides…. I understand the high sides are for safety but baby can’t see anything. This means he feels alone and scared and thus, screams uncontrollably while mum/dad is driving. This in itself is a major saftey hazard! I’m conclusion, an extremely poorly designed yet very expensive seat. Would never recommend

Wouldn't be my first choice next time – While you won't be disappointed with this seat, and in fact when my child was first born I loved it, it wouldn't be one I'd buy again. The installation, at least using isofix is exceptionally easy but after 2 years of using it you start to realise the small issues that drive you nuts every day, like the fact the magnets won't hold the seat belt… Read more

Not sure if it's unique to the seat but my son tends to get hot in the chair. Overall it's a good seat but I'd definitely consider another brand for when it's time to replace it.

A versatile car seat – We were impressed with the versatility and features of this car seat which is why we purchased it . Not only does it allow for 0-4 years use but it has chin supports and a super cosy infant insert. Maxi Cosi was a bit of a no brainer as we have our almost 7 year old in the Luna Smart but we didn’t know too much about the 0-4 seats anymore after not needing one for so long. Happy Maxi Cosi customers once again!

Great for tiny babies – Great car seats, purchased 2 for my newborn twins. They ‘just’ fit into the harness( with the padding removed) coming home from the hospital at 2kg each and are so comfortable now that they’re 5kg! Easily washable liners which has been great. Bub is always comfy and falls asleep in it always! I love that he has the ability to grow into it as he gets older! And the magnets on the side to hold the belt so it does not get tangled is amazing!! We loved it so much that we have recommended it to all our family and friends who are now having babies!

other brands. The seat is VERY deep ( which some have complained about, but in my opinion makes it feel extra safe as babe is nice and deep in her little shell). Magnetic holders for the straps make it easy to get her in and our. Easy to adjust. Isofix feels really nice and sturdy.the build quality is nice & we like that the base and back of seat are fully covered compared to other brands which are all exposed- this also helps prevent dust build up AND less marks on the car. The chin support is a really nice added feature. Nice amount of padding. Hint- sometimes a newborn doesn't require the insert. We had to remove to get bub to have a nice fit in the seat to avoid chin to chest. The seat itself is very supportive even without it.
Customer service is also faultless.
