Friendly staff High priced Discretionary choice to shop with – Some issues with store which is looking tired the lighting is dull for instance. more for the same product they have had this approach for years but given the economy today it may be time for a rethink on profit margins over foot traffic and sales in the long run.

Customer Service29/04/20 – Yesterday i purchased two Ezi Chef soups...i sat down to eat one for lunch and it tasted fizzy. I checked the empty container and it was past its use by date by two days. This has happened to me before. The problem is that the staff are just not trained to deal with these issues....and on each occasion i was made to feel like a troublemaker rather… Read more

than a customers who has had to return to the supermarket to return defect items....yesterday for example when i returned with one full and one empty container , the staff member wanted a receipt, which i don't ask for when shopping at Maxi. i explained i was here only 20 minutes ago.The staff member wanted to know which check out i went through??...i said why don't you simply apologies and return my money and go check the remainder of your stock and check the dates....the staff member went on to say " We just cant refund monies without a receipt of proof of purchase. I started to feel like a soup scammer....going from supermarket to supermarket scammer $6!!...it would not make any sense to me why a customer would be doing such a thing...commonsense must prevail....or just more training of staff!!...finally a staff member returned my money with an insincere apology. ... This product should have been removed from the self 4 days ago....not an overnight oversight

Over priced – It appeared that all the specials disappeared and many prices went up during the pandemic. In addition, replacing foods with organic at a higher price is done at your peril. Not everyone is fooled by so-called organic products, very debatable. I won’t be shopping here again due to the price gouging. Show details

Overpriced – It's annoying when they put ec on a product in very small letters and the price in larger letters. Must check the receipt before leaving the store in future.

Fabulous variety of treats! – I love Maxi Foods FTG. Every time I pay a visit, there are more and more exciting foods on offer. Your 2016 Easter Eggs selection is fantastic! The organic produce section seems to get bigger every month, and I only wish I could bake bread - I've never seen such a huge variety of bread-making goods. I'd also like to mention your lovely staff, always friendly and helpful. I've never had a bad experience at this store, thank you!

Not happy Jan! – Nice product range but some items are over priced. Long lines at registers and stressed staff. Items often scan at the wrong price, out of date, in the wrong place on the shelf or none on the shelf. Good range of produce and looks fresh. Staff although stressed are helpful. Great range of products for people with food allergies. Long lines at registers.
