have you had any issues with your dryer and if so are they repairable please. We have an Atlantis dryer which has been a faithful workhorse for years but is now not functioning and would love to get it back into working shape if possible

What is the drawing watts on full high heating and half heating? Will a 20 amp power point suffice if no other appliances are turned on at the same time? Thanks Geoff

Hi Geoff. Heating is 4000kw and draws 16amps. I had both Washer & Dryer on same 20A Breaker with no issues.

I forgot to mention that the Dryer uses the same draw for High & Low settings. The heat toggles on and off to maintain temp but does not draw anymore or any less energy.

Thank you. Yes I can use a 20amp power point but sparky says that I couldn't use any other appliance on the same circuit at the same time or it would trip. So was hoping that a lesser heat setting would lower the draw below 15amp.

Yes, mine said the same thing but I did it anyway. I could use both this and my washer as long as it was not heating water during a cycle then it might have have tripped the switch but not always. If I was heating water to 40c and was running the dryer on Regular cycle I would not trip the switch. If I was heating water to 60c and using the dryer it would trip the switch when the washer was at around 50c. Not always but sometimes.

I now run a Alliance 10kg Electric Stack OPL on one one 20A circuit at the board. The Washer is on a standard 10A outlet and draws 3A. The dryer draws 16A . There is no heater in my washer but has H water inlet which is connected to Solar so the machine only draws low amp
