Best Machine I have ever owned – Washes clothes beautifully every time, no lint and gentle on delicates. Uses stuff all water and has never let me down in 3 years. The 30 minute cycle is a ripper! It is a little small for large items like doonas and blankets, but very economical on water and power which is important for me on a rural block with out own water. Washes clothes really well with a really fast spin After 3 years heavy use, there is some surface rust on the front

Terrible – DO NOT even consider buying this machine- so you never ever have to deal with Maytag if it proves to be a dud- nothing will eventuate and you'll end up forking out more money to buy a new washing machine. Not many! I guess it uses less detergent and water than my old top loader. I thought I was getting a bargain when I purchased it on sale for half the RRP. THIS WASHING MACHINE SHRINKS EVERYTHING THAT IS WASHED IN IT! DO NOT buy this washing machine!!! I have two toddlers, aged 1 and 3, who are wearing size 5 & 8 clothing which is barely fitting them. I did a test and washed two tea towels- one in warm water (as per instructions) and the other in cold (if 20 degrees is considered cold?? That's the lowest temp setting). Both tea towels shrunk by 10cm in width and length. You can imagine what it's doing to all of our clothing, bed linen, towels....you name it! Hundreds of dollars in damage. I am so FURIOUS with Maytag/Whirlpool for their appalling customer service. They will not return phone calls and I'm still chasing them up 4 months on. Now they want to send out a technician to tell me that there is nothing 'technically' wrong with my machine and charge me for the call out service!!! I'M SO PEED OFF!
