Maytag MJD3005

Never again – I am very disappointed with my Maytag MJD 3005 dishwasher. This model is now discontinued so when I needed to purchase a replacement part it was not available. Hence, I was told that the machine should be 'thrown away' despite it being a relatively new item; albeit out of warranty. Parts not available, consistent error messages, unrealiable

Nothing But Problems Would Never Buy Maytag Again – We were very pleased with our Maytag Gas Dryer & Top Loading Washer that we purchased 12 years ago and so we purchased this dishwasher. in the Maytag Front Loading Washing Machine we purchased recently (another disaster). We won't be purchasing Maytag appliances again.

Noisy, plate rack is poor design, heat exhaust vents into cupboard, control boards fail, pumps fail, parts now hard to get & very expensive!

Terrible – Dishwasher stopped working after 6 months. Front board became full of moisture and needed replacement. Waited over 6 months for part. After repeated phone calls to Maytag/Whirlpool (telling us every week that the part was on backorder and should be in within the following week - please call us back...blah...blah..blah) found part had never… Read more

arrived. Customer service would not help. Eventually fought it out through Dept.Fair.Trade, to find out (to my amazement)they had found the part and it had been sitting in the warehouse (it's amazing how going over their heads seems to make them move). Do not buy a Maytag/Whirlpool product. You will be disapointed in the product and extremely unhappy with their idea of customer service!

When it breaks down, the customer service is not at all helpful!!!! Do not buy this product it is a lemon!
