Miele G 5000 Active

We owned a Bosch for over 20 years. When we went to Harvey Norman we were convinced to buy a Miele. If I could give Miele a minus score I would. Not long after purchasing we had issues with filter system. F11/F45 errors. We did the usual troubleshooting. At the two year and one month mark it stopped working. I contacted Miele - out of warranty by 30 days. I then went back to Harvey Norman and quoted the Australian Consumer Law. So then the wait started. Firstly to get Miele to contact me to organise a technician to come out and assess the machine. I ended up contacting them. Three weeks wait to assess the machine only. Technician came out. Major fault with the heater. Have to wait for part to arrive. More waiting. Technician tells me part has arrived but Miele have to book me in. Promised by the technician that I would get a call by the end of the week. No call. I texted the technician around 6pm that night. His response - how dare I text him after hours!! I called Miele first avaialble business day. Eventually got a booking for the repair. Another three weeks. Got repaired. And you guessed it. F11 error again!! We replaced the return valve this time. Lasted two weeks. Machine was constantly showing errors. This time we ditch the machine and go back to Bosch.
Purchased in at Harvey Norman Retail Stores - Electronics for $1,000.
My partner and I purchased our first and last Miele dishwasher almost 2 years ago. We were happy to pay a premium price for what we were led to believe was a premium product, but never again. The dishwasher has proven to be temarkably fragile (multiple drainage issues, a broken dishwasher tablet housing, and now the device's opening handle fascia has cracked, and is being held together with sticky tape); while the Miele warranty process was decidedly sub-optimal. By way of a comparison, our two previous Bosch dishwashers lasted almost 15 years each, while we can't see the two-times-more-expensive Miele lasting another six months before being consigned to the tip.
Purchased in at Harvey Norman for $1,500.

Daniel, I didn't reach out to Miele, nor did I provide your company with any feedback. What I did was write a consumer based review on a sub optimal product I purchased, that happened to be a Miele dishwasher. Unfortunately, due to my overwhelmingly negative experience of your product, when it comes to your brand, I think I'm "one-and-done."
We recently replaced our entry level Miele dishwasher from 2013 with another entry level Miele dishwasher, as we were very happy with it. Well, this newer model of an entry level has disappointed. The powder hatch feels really flimsy, and the mechanism to open and close it seems ridiculously complex and easy to break, compared to the earlier model which had a robust and simple hinged hatch. Why change a feature that works really well. More importantly, our previous model had a very handy RINSE option, allowing us to rinse the dishes only if the dishwasher wasn't full enough to justify a load in the evening. This kept the dishes rinsed and the dishwasher smelling fresh, making the final wash then really easy. This model-oh no there is no rinse option. All we can do is run a full eco cycle. Why? Why remove the rinse function? So now we end up with smelly dishes for 2-3 days unless we want to run a complete cycle. Seems unnecessarily wasteful of water. I would suggest that high end brands consider that offering a decent and well-designed entry-level model has the potential to convince consumers to then appreciate the quality and consider the same brand for future purchases. Offering a poorly designed item with limited features (don't even get me started on my entry level Miele washing machine) doesn't do much to engender brand loyalty.
