Hi Errol, I had this problem on both the ovens I had. But sometimes it was much worse than only 10c - 20C. Some meals were delayed by hours. The solution came through replacing the main chip in both units. It was very expensive, but solved the problem.

Ian, thanks for that. I am going off Miele. Had a Miele dishwasher that was out of warranty and had pin holes in the stainless steel inside lining. Miele service was useless.

Call Miele Service, this oven sounds sick. Good luck.

Hi Ray, I have two in the kitchen. They are difficult to get to temperature and do not hold temperature, I have had meals take hours longer than they should. Rather embarrassing if you have guests. It often looks like the temperature is up, but if you raise the temperature by 5C and get it to heat up again it will show you the real temperature. When you set the temperature you will need to press okay otherwise the temperature will stay at the 180c default. For most things, I have given up on using the fan and just use conventional. I can not wait to get back to my own kitchen and away from these monsters.

Sounds like I did not quite Understand the problem we have…my wife says that if she sets the oven at 150 for example, when she goes back later to check the temperature it is lower e.g. sitting at 130. If has not maintained the temperature she originally set it at. Maybe a problem related to the one you mentioned… Thanks again for your response.

I suspect you need a Service Call. Just organised a service call myself for my oven. It has a warped element! I tried to organise it Online, with no success. I had to wait 30 mlns. on the end of the phone, to arrange a Technician Call. I love my Miele products, they are the best, but if they go wrong, it is expensive and a bit of a nightmare getting service. The Technicians have always been mostly competent. Only one poor experience. Good luck.

Well I wouldn't it takes so long to cook a roast let alone heat a casserole right thru in this oven .The later oven , yes of course , This model I would simply pass on this one.Shame as Meile is supposed to be no1, but sorry not this model

Hello. I can't help you with that one unfortunately. The problem with mine was when I had it on convention cooking ,it would not cook casseroles in the middle and the same on the setting fan plus. Everything would never get hot in the middle .I had to turn it up to 240 to cook in the middle and it would burn on the outside.

I tried to persevere, but unfortunately had to part with this oven! and it was exspensive!

I am not sure,maybe check fuses in metre box. I had this model and my oven would cook everything on the outside of the dish but the inside or middle of everything I cooked was always cold!!!.Itdid my head in and in the end had to change it.They don't make this model anymore.I cook for a lot of people as we entertain a lot because of the business we are in and this oven did not work for me and being in the country ,service was out of the question as the service guys worked on all brands and in the end I just ended up buying a new oven $$$$shame as the oven wasn't exactly cheap!!

I'm not sure about the difference between them because I haven't tried the other model,but mine took ages to roast anything and nothing would crisp up and just took far too long to cook even the most simple things.For the price and the brand it did not meet expectations.Sorry Meile

But I have opted for another brand and it delivers ,Hope this helps and maybe that's why they deleted this model???.
