Miele H 6860 BP Questions

Hi! Please can someone tell me what to do with an error which happened directly after the electricity gone for secounds my Miele oven H6860BP shows on the screen “ Miele willkommen” and it can’t go further! Grateful for any help!

Good morning, This screen indicates the oven has been reset and the standard start up is required. Please refer to the user guide " Using for the first time". We had exactly the same issue for the the same oven (6860bp) two days ago just after two short power cuts. The screen showed "Miele willkommen" and the second later it started over in a never ending loop. Since I could not find a solution (but found this question) I called the Miele support who sent out a techican who conneced his computer to the oven, loaded new software and 20mins later it was as new again. I think its not possible to get around the problem without their help. To let it just rest off power did not do any difference. Regards Mattias (from Sweden)

Oven lights remained on after I switched off the oven after doing a roast. Even after switching the oven off from the mains the Miele logo came on and flickers and no other display functions are available and the lights remain on in the oven and won't go off.

The reviews on the Moisture Plus oven are varied and confusing. Assuming technology has changed over the last years - anyone highly recommend this oven or not?

I took the glass out of the door and can’t seem to get the clips to move back to re-lock it in place. Any help?

Hi I am thinking of purchasing a Miele Oven H6660BP just wondering if anyone has this model and would love to know what you think of it. d. Any comments would be appreciated.

Great ovens..I doubt you will be disappointed although investment $$ are quite high. Many functions that I have only used probably 10% of but they are there if you need them, the 4 panel glazed door is always cool, heat distribution & temp control spot on & my favourite is pyro clean leaving all racks & trays in is a real advanced feature for this oven...BTW mine is 3 years old & is the HP6860. I see a terrible rating here but feel that particular oven may have had a teething problem....which appears to have been resolved by Miele as the customer seems happy now.
