Just need a dryer that works – Yep same issues as others so won’t bother to repeat. Ours is in air bnb - constant complaints from guests & losing revenue Lady at Miele told me filter needs to be washed at very specific temperature so if you can’t afford a dryer concierge to attend to idiosyncrasies I suggest you purchase another brand. Miele TDA150C Tumble Dryer - Ongoing Problems – Had this Miele Tumble Dryer for approximately 6 years. Problem is persisting and another technician is booked in for Thursday 28 Nov 2024. We had an extended warranty on this product, but now it is costing money. Miele prides themselves on a 20 year life span, but this doesn't even get close. Always cleaned filters etc and well maintained by us - Unacceptable. Was there perhaps an issue with this machine - Is that the reason it has been discontinued? - Miele TDA150C - I have just bought a new Miele Washing Machine which is to be delivered on 29 Nov 2024 - Did I make the right decision?

Miele should have recalled it – We were stuck with years of putting up with this dryer randomly beeping as mentioned in every other review because of a low bench height which I’ve finally raised. Will replace it with any brand other than Miele. Show details

Awesome dryer – Had this about a year now, three loads a week. Works faultlessly every time. Manual is a bit complex but after a couple of readings I get it. Easy to clean. Super dry or slightly damp for Ironing you choose. Big door for easy loading. No condensation in the room. Nearly as fast as my previous normally vented dryer. Turned off the irritating buzz that likes to wake you up if you leave a load in at night.  Show details

Terrible product – We are forever getting the technicians out and even though this costs a fortune, they can only temporarily fix the problem. It keeps getting error codes, beeps all the times, then only works for about 10 minutes. Hopeless product. Show details

Does not dry or heat up – I bought this dryer 4 years ago and it constantly has problems. I had beeping issues previously but now it stopped working completely. It does not heat up and my clothes does not dry at all. Very disappointing for a dryer this expensive.

Absolute rubbish - could not recommend – Have had dryer for ~5 years of very light use. In that time I’ve spent maybe $600 on repairs for a heating element sensor and one or two other things. I bought a Miele in the first place as they were (meant to be) ‘built to last’ - I am honestly at the point where I buy a new one (from an ‘inferior’ brand) rather than run the gauntlet of another $200 call out fee for no guarantee of result.

In short - steer very well clear. Buy anything but a Miele.

This is extremely disappointing as we specified all Miele appliances to our builder when doing a major renovation, notwithstanding the premium cost, based on what we thought was a quality and reliable brand. Cannot recommend as that was not the case - at this pricepoint the product is not worth the outlay given the lack of warranty/support.

Doesn’t stop beeping - do not buy – This dryer constantly beeps and says clean out airways. I clean it out multiple times a week which seems ridiculous. Miele responded to one bad review and fixed some ‘faulty’ parts but that only improved things for a couple of months and now it is back to beeping constantly. A dryer that does not dry – I bought a Miele dryer a couple of years ago at great expense and it literally does not dry things. And while it goes about not drying things, it makes a lot of noise. I regret not reading reviews before purchasing.

Because it's Miele doesn't mean its good – We have a Miele TDA 150 tumble dryer. The constant beeping is driving us crazy. Miele has done nothing to sort the problem out. There must be an inherent design fault, but they are not interested in sorting the matter out. Do not touch miele products

with this for a while now, but because I will be having guests with a baby staying with us soon, thought I would organise a service call so I rang Meile and booked it in. It was going to cost at least $200 for the callout with no guarantee of fixing! In the meantime, I googled reviews and low and behold was astounded to find that I was not the only one experiencing this problem so I cancelled the service call and instead, I would like to hear from Meile to advise me of what I should do to rectify this problem. For a company that prides itself as being "top of the market" in home appliances, sadly, this one is definitely a fail.

Don't bother! Save your money. Worse Miele product ever :( – Sadly, it's the same review as everyone else... After 5mins the dryer beeps away, and then shuts off. That's it. No more drying. Every inch of the machine has been cleaned. Very disappointing. Save your money and buy something else.

It has sat in my laundry dormant for all this time. My last condenser dryer was amazing...this is total rubbish. My 21 year old washing machine has just broken down and I'm considering changing to another brand and ditching the dryer too. I contacted miele last year about it but haven't been able to get a technician out to assess it.

Very, very disappointing – This is my second Miele clothes dryer. I replaced the first because the “clean out airways” buzzer kept coming on, and despite cleaning every bit of fluff I could find, within minutes the buzzer would go off. out people to service and “fix” the problem. The second dryer does the same thing. It is necessary to virtually strip the dryer before use, and if you’re lucky, it might work once a day. Might. That’s the end of me and Miele. Don’t buy these products. They are expensive and they simply let your down.

I wrote the above review a couple of months ago, and Miele contacted me. They have been out twice (free of charge) to address the issue, and have replaced parts, again free of charge. Given this dryer is out of warranty, they have been excellent in attempting to sort out the problem. As of today, March 23, 2021, the dryer is working perfectly. Well done, Miele, and 10/10 for service.

A chorus of boos – I won’t elaborate or repeat what’s written below: the clean airways issue is severe and makes the dryer effectively useless and service has been unacceptable - took weeks for a generic email response and then silence for weeks longer.

Clean out airways, constant beeping! – This dryer is not functioning and stops with ‘clean out air ways ‘ constantly beeping. Something we have always made sure of. It cannot complete a drying cycle. Its not functional.
