Broke after 1 year and customer service is a nightmare, sent it to be assessed for repair or replacement, it’s been over two weeks and I can not even get a straight answer from Miele if they even have my vacuum there! No updates after requesting… Read more

several times. Useless customer service. Just keep asking for more info even though I have given them the tracking number, all my contact info and followed their return instructions to the letter. The only indication of my vacuum location is Aus post tracking confirmation. I won’t be buy by anything Miele again. The brand has let me down, I expected better. Back to a Dyson.

Follow-up  · Follow up: vacuum was great until it stopped spinning the brush head. Apparently a common fault. Initially customer service was helpful but as soon as I’d sent the vacuum in for service I was pretty much ghosted by CS, they are in the Phillipines or similar and every time you contact them you’re treated like it’s the first time and they have no… Read more

Terrible – Broken again 2nd time in 18 months since purchase. Machine has lost suction and it just pushes dog hair and dust around. I’ve resorted to using my Karcher industrial vacuum which only cost $129 . For a $1100 product I’d expect far better quality. Very disappointed. Should have stuck to Vorwerx or Dyson. Def don’t recommend

Buy something else, not worth the inflated price – Purchased this cordless vacuum on brand reputation, worst decision ever. Heavy, unwieldly, not a pleasure to use, and constant problems with the fit of the barrel on to the unit when removing for cleaning. You need to remove the filter assembly from the barrel to clean, and when replacing it there is constant problems trying to get it to engage… Read more

properly into the barrel. When you finally get it to go together your next challenge is to fit the barrel onto the "stick", which can also be hit or miss. After not quite 2 months of use now there is a problem with the dust filter fitting into the barrel. It should twist in and retain however when inserted and rotated to lock in it can easily be removed simply by holding it and lifting.

About the only good thing I can say about this unit is the suction performance, especially on the high power setting, is really great, though you will run out of battery power fairly quick. Fortunately it has three settings for suction, and using the lower setting, or the "Econo" setting will give you sufficient power for most situations and longer cleaning time. Use the highest setting only when cleaning heavily ingrained dirt/sand from carpet.

I could not in all sincerity recommend this vacuum cleaner, the frustrations of using it because of the poor design far outweigh any benefits, especially when you pay a premium price for this unit. This unit replaced a Dyson V7 unit which we had used for many years before it failed, much better, lighter, more versatile vacuum cleaner with very good vacuum power, and at least a couple of hundred dollars cheaper than the Miele.

Horrible machine and service – I purchased this machine in April from Godfrey’s. After five months the rollers do not work on carpet, the machine doesn’t suction at all and the battery life last a whole 20 mins. After repeated attempts to contact Miele to have this sorted I either get passed from one team to the next with no resolution or told to drive for hours to take it to… Read more

a repairer (I live in regional QLD).

The customer service from Miele is beyond despicable and the call centre has even noted that they are aware of these issues with the machines, however they make it difficult for me to return this heap of junk. I have now lost $700 on a machine which will now end up at the tip.

Terrible – All I can say, is wish I'd bought a Dyson. I spend more time clearing the unit (thankfully I have a spike that allows me to) than actual vacuuming. Little suction, little holding capacity, constant clogging. A total waste of money! Show details

Head motor broken after 6 months – Purchased my very expensive Miele stick vac in June 2023. By 1/1/24 the head no longer rotated and light did not work. I took it back to place of purchase - Godfrey’s where they swapped parts around with their in store display machine and it was easy to see head was definately broken. For the cost of this product you would expect far superior… Read more

level of quality. Paying $1200 for something that breaks after 6 months is pretty poor. The dust collecting barrel is very hard to undo also. Not ideal for elderly with poor hand strength or arthritis. Wish I’d gone and purchased another Kobold now. Waste of money

Disappointing – I loved my Miele stick vac up until now. I dont get to decide when it turns on....it does!! It's frustrating as hell that when I need it I can't use it. I have to pull out my trusty $99 Kmart vac that I have had for years to do the job. I have now figured that if I need my Miele vac I need to go switch it on and leave it for 10-15 mins and it will randomly start working. Super disappointing. Show details

Any ideas as to why this is happening?

Quite expensive and has some serious faults – Purchased the Cat and Dog Version but a real issue with batteries. If charging or removing battery it is necessary to replace battery and then plug charger in and remove after a few seconds before Vac will function. Dust cannister is very small and takes no time at all to fill and is fussy to clean. Picks up dust very well and is quiet in… Read more

operation but overall needs a lot of improvement. It's quite heavy and using as a stick vacuum is not that comfortable. Using as an upright with wide head is where it excels. Run time is not that long when using wide powered brush head and even using both batteries would struggle to complete a full house clean. Overall it's OK but the battery issue is a real annoyance and needs attention.

Absolutely Disappointed ! Don't Waste your Money! – I actually waited a long time for the release of this product believing that it would definitely be a great product. Being a big fan of Miele and its products, I was confident that this would be another great product from Miele. Well... I am not happy at all! I have bought the ‍"Triflex HX2 Performance". ⁎ ) The HX2 is exteremly heavy for a stick… Read more

vacuum cleaner. You literally apply force to be able to lift it. You might say why would I lift my vaccum? Good question! Keep Reading...!

⁑ ) The gap between the head brush and the floor is so tiny and narrow that anything thicker than a Rice Grain is literally pushed across the floor with the vaccum head as you push it. Therefore quite often you would have to actually lift the unit off the floor and place it on top of the spot that you want to clean. I am not even talking carpet or a rug here. This is floorboard surface I am talking about. This is how bad it is!!!

⁂) The container is really small and hard to empty too. This is by far the hardest vaccum container I have ever had to empty.

⁑⁑) The battery doesn't last long at all. You definitely need the spare battery which will cost you more at the time of purchase. Again... I have bought the ‍"Triflex HX2 Performance".

My point is, if you are spending so much money to get yourself a decent stick vac, there are definitely better options out there. In the particular case of this vac, I can confidently say that a $50 vac from KMART would make you way more happier. I don't want to name any competitor brands here, but TRUST ME, at this price range, vaccums from other brands are definitely lighter and come with bigger containers.

I thought I'd share my experience here to hopefully stop other people falling for the brand and get disappointed straight away. I have always been a fan of Miele, but trust me, this one is complete failure and a big nagative score for the big brand.

Good Luck and Happy Shopping Non-Miele Vaccums!‍
