Miele W1 WCS Active WCA 020 (7kg)

A normal wash is over 3 hours. I am having trouble keeping up with the washing as my family can wear more clothes in 3 hours than the washer can wash. I constantly have to cut back on washing things each week, like bed sheets etc. Looks good, washes good on the 3 hour cycle, but does not wash well on the 20 min cycle. hours. You can open the door during a cycle to add things most of the time, which is good. The previous Miele machine I had took around an hour less time. Not sure why a wash takes so long compared to the previous Miele machine I had, which is a similar model.

WCA020 very poor rinse – WCA 020 has two problems: soap powder residue is left in dispenser after complete cycle has finished. And rinse is totally inadequate. I've just put 2 sheets and a bathtowel through 3 complete 'short + extra water' wash & rinse cycles. That's about 5 hours in total. Only the first cycle had detergent. Broken after 3months & terrible customer service – Bought this machine brand new 3 months ago and the motor & switch board has already broken down. Miele have sold us a dodgy machine considering they promise good quality. This is disappointing because a premium was paid. however the parts required an additional wait time of a week, we had to cancel last minute on account of going into labour. I had to reschedule a time and they said it couldn’t be for another 2 weeks. I have tried calling and asking for an earlier date however they hang up the phone. This is unacceptable customer service given we have newborn baby.

What’s the point of having warranty if they don’t replace the machine if it’s faulty.

Rubbish...not worth the money – Purchased this machine after having a Miele front loader before and was very happy with it. Unfortunately got divorced and the washing machine stayed with him. to set up a rinse and spin cycle. At times it doesn't register when I press start only to check the wash expecting to be finished but hasn't started washing. I still see lint on clothes didnt experience this with my previous machine. I will never purchase or recommend a Miele front loader again....not worth the money.
