No waves – After paying for kids to entervwave pool i asked the french attendent why the waves werent operating. He called the manager and got the response that there werent enough using it to turn on the waves. It was meant to operate from 1 til 5 but up until 430 there still arent any waves dispite the fact that there are about 30 ppl in it. Council needs to stop funding this place. Maybe they will focus on customer service if its not so cushy.

Outdoor pool – For most of the 2021/2022 season, the outdoor pool has been closed. I have a membership like many others and this community facility is often closed. Apparently, they don't have enough lifeguards but after discussions with lifeguards in the centre, this is not the case. The lifeguards are not being treated well. Apparently there is a bonus for… Read more

keeping costs down. Well done on ruining a community facility!

Just to clarify a community facility is for the following; the community, the ratepayers, and tourists who visit Mildura. However, a community facility is not for someone else's profit or gain.

I will cancel my membership.

Great place, but needs to be kept MUCH cleaner – Great place, but needs to be much cleaner eg: tables and floors, are very dirty, with the pandemic the areas should be clean. I would hope the pools are cleaner than the other facilities.

Mildura Waves-Continue to charge after cancellation of membership – Our family joined Mildura waves and the contract was for 6 months which ended in March 2020. We approached the lady that opened our account and she assured us that our membership will not be renewed as we informed her that we were moving away to Sydney. We spoke to [name removed] who telephonically guaranteed that we will receive our refund for… Read more

the one month charged. Again my account was debited with an incomplete cancellation even after speaking and email communication .

I am just disappointed that a huge institute cannot refund an amount of 161.40 dollars. We received an amazing service when we joined and now that we require assistance we are shunned away.

Terrible facilities – I'm not sure how many times we need to say something and post something. Nothing is changing the facilities are just disgusting the change rooms smell the outside pool has a scum line all the way around the water line. There is duck poo on the outside edges and the bottom of the pool hasn't seen a vacuum cleaner for I don't know how long. I have… Read more

never seen the pool so dirty before and the new management don't seem to care either. Complaints falling on deaf ears !!!!!!

Good facilities, poor management – The facility itself is a rare gem and hard to come by something on it's level. With a wave pool, spa, sauna and Olympic swimming and diving pools! However the facility's management let's it down. Staff are disorganized and uncoordinated, the wave pool has constant maintenance issues and most of the time private bookings render the Olympic pools… Read more

off limits.

With new management and better staff training and coordination this could well be one of the greatest aquatic centers Australia has to offer.

No fun allowed – Value for your money is just not there. All the pools are blocked off for fitness classes, if you wish to just swim and enjoy yourself it’s a no go. In my mind I believe it is a complete waste of money to become a member. They should also review their name (Mildura waves) they are hardly ever on. It is more of an fitness centre and this is what it should be called.

Great complex but – Our experience the outside pool & diving pool are policed! by pool attendance who control their patrons with obvious management directives to such an extent nobody is allowed to have fun all under the guise of your own safety. Even my 63 year old wife was told of for paddling her feet in the diving pool when nobody was in it what a load of killjoys.

Amazing facility – The Waves is an amazing facility for a city the size of Mildura. I doubt that most locals appreciate just how good it is. Staff are all friendly, service is helpful and always given with a smile. Good coffee and a snack.

Duty manager rude – Duty Manager treats the other staff poorly and also makes up rules for the pool as he goes. When told I was making a complaint about him he threatened to throw our whole group out!

membership is a joke – pay over $700 a year for membership they had a swimming carnival outside and a school in the indoor pool taking up 3 lanes no room to swim no notice to members they have no respect for members and a lack of management don't get ripped off. And it cost a lot to get out of membership.

Terrible customer service – Tried to book swimming lessons, was told the booking had been made and was given class times, asked if I should pay over the phone and was told no. Rang them the day before to confirm and was told there was no record of my booking and I should have paid over the phone to confirm. All the lessons at the times I needed were now booked out. I… Read more

explained this to them however they placed the blame squarely on me and would not accept that a mistake had been made. I've never entered this establishment since.
