This place is an absolute scam!!!! I was gifted a voucher to the opening of the Geelong spa for $259. Long story short it never opened and I am still waiting for a refund over 2 years later for a business that started operating. The business has send me a number of (broken) promises but has since stopped returning my emails and has blocked me on social media.

anything. Said she has been overseas and now hospitalised and I’ve now been completely ghosted. Websites/socials & all communication is gone & I’m out of pocket a couple of grand. I have contacted Consumer Affairs and Scam Watch. Please report her.
My husband bought me a gift voucher for Christmas and I havent been able to use as when I call i can't get through to anyone and when I go to the website it states it is temporarily closed (has said this for months!) I was gifted a voucher for a 60 min head spa treatment and blow dry. was unable to book for weeks. Went through all channels stated to contact Mingka only to be ghosted. Have the decency to respond and let me know you are no longer in business that’s the least you can do since you already have the money for the gift voucher.
Buyer beware!! Allowed me to make an appointment for a location that does not exist then refused to honour a gift card and refund a booking deposit, even though the cancellation was made well within the cancellation policy time frame. Tried contacting them and received radio silence in return. Have reported to ACCC and awaiting VCAT tribunal hearing. Do not give this company a cent.
If I could do less than 1 star I would ! please don’t waste your time she is a [Content Removed] [Name Removed] is quick to take your money & than pretends to refund you , but than cancels the request You will not receive your goods there will always be an excuse on it not arriving please be cautious & if you have been done over like many other people report her like we have done to try & stop this [Content Removed]

Issue for this location was also health+ staffing so there is a theme. Would proceed with caution if prepaying
So unprofessional and disappointing – Had an appointment booked last year on 20/12/2023. Received a message on the same day from an unknown number informing me that Brooke has been hospitalised and all appointments will need to be moved to the New Year when staff return from holiday break. to say that it was from Mingka Head Spa. I initially thought it was sent to the wrong number given I have a business myself with clients. My aunt was also booked in the same day at Mingka Head Spa and she rang me to inform me about the message. I told her I thought it was the wrong number. I already started to plan my trip!
A month later, I received no phone calls to reschedule. I sent through an email explaining the story above and was phoned by reception the same day - 23/1/2024. The receptionist apologised about the incident and informed me I will receive a refund of my $50 deposit.
I never received the deposit, and still to this day 6/5/2024, nothing. I emailed once again on the 22/3/2024 asking about the refund and I've had no responses - none whatsoever.
What an absolutely disappointing experience and I will never book here ever again.
Do NOT recommend this place to anyone - don't bother booking here, SO NOT professional.
Deposit paid, no service given – Paid a deposit for the Moonee Ponds location, and was advised the afternoon prior that the appointment would not happen. Have been repeatedly asking for a refund via DM, email and text to no response. Business still seems to be running in Malvern. Obviously they promise a new location just to take peoples money, and then do not deliver. Do not bother with the company.
Lack of communication – I’m sorry, but there is absolutely no communication from Mingka. Even though their Google shows they are open, they’re not responding to calls or messages. I am still awaiting for a refund of my deposit but no response. I will be taking this up with VCAT. PS I see that they are still active on IG but ignoring the clients whom they owe refunds to??
