We were disappointed – Unfortunately after running the fridge at home we were a few days away in our pop top camper van and it started and made a horrible noise, it still functioned well despite it running and making this loud noise. We were disappointed in that as the looks, cover etc were good, we were disappointed that it did not have wire baskets inside.  Show details

Crap Fridge – I bought this fridge off Ebay and what a massive disappointment it is. On 240v it continues to fault out on a E2 and E4 code. It does the same thing on 12v. Cant use it at all. Dont buy this product. Cant get hold of the supplier. Bad customer service, bad product.  Show details

Absolute Disappointment – Bit_Deals on eBay supplied this fridge. They do not support their products, they do not even bother to reply to eBay messages. This fridge does not work. Avoid. As a note eBay are useless and will not help me. BIT_DEALS equals NIL SUPPORT. Do not waste your money on MISHTO  Show details

bad fridge and no customer service – Fridge arrived but totally would not run Returned to Bit _ Deals [[ They insisted it was fine I requested testing on both 12v and 240v but they just sent it back. It ran on 240v for a while then I put it in the van and plugged it into 12 v // It functioned intermittently but had to constantly be reset // After about 3 hours it went bang and… Read more

shorted out the dashboard of my car // It melted its connection // Since then communication with bit_deals has failed they do not reply to ebay messages or emails. I have a phone number but it is linked to a voicemail that tells you to email them. I have referred the matter to ACCC I want a full refund and nothing further to do with this seller.

Lots of faults, bad build quality – My wife bought me this fridge as a gift as I was using an esky for my camping fridges. The build quality on these is very poor. Firstly, the fridge latches don't close the lid down fully, there's about 5mm of wiggle room which shakes when you are on a bumpy road. Doesn't affect the cooling, just annoying. The seller told me that this was standard,… Read more

and they would accept a return. I didn't press them any more as they were clearly not willing to work with me and just accepted what I had.

I pulled the panels off as soon as I got it to inspect the quality of the wiring, as I had read of issues with the wiring. It seemed ok but I noticed that the panels were very thin sheet metal, and held together with metal screws, with no thread or nuts. Once the screws are removed once, they will not hold properly again, over tightening also threads the sheet metal and the holes are too big for the screws, so you need bigger screws.

On my first trip out, the fridge ran for about 3 hours before the fan fell off - this is the fan inside, which cools the radiator. It snapped all the blades as it vibrated loose and was flapping about. I had to turn the fridge off.

The fan is a standard 120mm computer fan, which I had to replace. Upon inspection the fan is only held onto the radiator with 2 screws instead of 4, and only penetrates the radiator 10mm, which is not enough to hold it. The fan is also very poor quality and is not balanced, and vibrates a lot, which is probably why it fell off. Some glue would have been good, and 2 more screws to secure it. The fan is also very loud.

I replaced it with a super quiet computer fan, for 20 dollars. Soldered it in, and used engineering grade silicone to hold it onto the radiator. I did not bother with the screws as they seemed totally useless.

This fridge boasts a danfoss compressor, I am not sure if the compressor is a genuine danfoss or not, it does have the danfoss logos on it but it could be an imitation, however the overall build quality is very very poor. Money would be better spent on a better quality fridge. I think the repairs i made may keep this running for a while, but time will tell. Do not waste your money, buy something a little better. If you cannot afford it, open the panels and glue the fan down with some silicon and ensure that the wiring inside is good and proper before operating. This should decrease your chances of failure.

great fridge – This fridge has been a proven reliable performer users bag of all electricity very cheap to run. The big bonus is the extra large freezer space, which most bridges don't have on the ability of that it's 12 Volt 0240 Volt makes it another attractive option. Bought it from EBay. I have really had no complaints that this fridge looks good quiet running and I would say very reliable.

Mishto 65l Camping/Portable Fridge – I bought one on eBay, nothing but problems, sent it back and got a full refund. The seller was great, excellent communications, but the product is poor quality and falsely advertised as 65l capacity when it is really 58l (60 if I am being generous). I even emailed Cenco to clarify but they failed to respond to 2 emails! It arrived non functional,… Read more

after discussion with the seller I removed the side panel and found a loose spade connector. I also noticed that one of the connectors was attached by twisting the wires together and covering with hot melt glue...this was also how they (the Chinese manufacturer, Cenco) secured the power sockets into the face plate! After getting it running on 240v I switched to 12v and it failed to keep the set temp (-18) overnight and drained the battery more than it should have...after investigation I found the lid seal was not sealing properly causing the compressor to run more that it should and dropping the battery charge to the point where the cut off was reached and the compressor stopped altogether...glad I didn't have a load of frozen food in there! The seller offered to send a new seal but I had reached the endpoint of patience so I sent it back for a full refund. Like I said, the seller was great but the product is very poor quality. The 'manual' is a few pages written in Chinglish and falsely claims it is a Danfoss compressor but when you take the plate off it is a Sikelan compressor (Danfoss copy by the look of it). These Cenco fridges look to be re-badged by a number of vendors, including some well know brands, so they may be ok but the risk of them dying and dumping a load of food, or having to ship them back to a seller 1000k away for repair is not worth the risk I think. That's not to say Waeco's and Engels won't fail and spoil all you food too but at least they have a repair network (I think) around the country.
