I bought a secondhand MEC1R cooler from the local Tendercentre for $30 and while it seems to have its net filter is there suppose to be a container where the water fills up or is the rotor pump meant to go underwater? - I cannot find any proper diagrams in the instruction manual and it seems as though water would run everywhere if I move the cooler - I don't want to set the house on fire or get electrocuted.

Hi Justina, thanks for your query.

Yes, there is supposed to be a water container in which the water pump is submerged to feed water on the net.

I usually fill in water up to the maximum line, not sure how many litre. there's also min line, so just put water between that line, that would be fine
