Great value – I picked this up about a year ago and have tended to use it more during the winter months. It works really well, just follow a recipe, set it going in the morning, head to work and when we get home dinner is ready! Functionality is pretty basic, and the build quality isn't amazing but it does the job. I figure if we keep looking after it, hopefully it will last many years Show details
Easy and simple – Good time saver and perfect for working families, easy to clean, and the food does not stick to the bottom. I can always rely on the cooker and make delicious food time after time with the recipes provided. If I knew I would achieve these results, would have purchased the product much earlier! Show details
Sear and stew in same pot – I wanted 3 things in a slow cooker: to be able to use the same pot from stovetop to slow cooker, to be very simple to use, and to have a glass lid to see how meal is going inside without lifting lid off and heat escaping. This delivers on all 3 things and also looks great in the kitchen. Simple controls just for high, medium and low only so you… Read more
need to just work out the time you want to cook for. The instruction books enclosed helps with this and also has a range of recipes to get you started.
The best thing is the non-stick stovetop safe cooking pot which lifts out and pops back in once you have browned everything. Just be careful only to use silicone or wood spoons, as the teflon layer seems quite thin and it looks like it scratches easily. Also you'll need to cook a fair bit to fill it, like at least a couple kilos meat. Which is good if you want to feed around 6 people or for leftovers for freezing. If you want fewer serves from your slow cooker, you might be better with the smaller 3.5L one.
Best kitchen appliance yet – This is easy to use, easy to clean, and makes great food. I am happy with the cooking results, and recommend it all the time. When neighbours call in, and ask 'what's cooking' I say ... get your own slow cooker... And yes, of course, I let them taste test. Show details · 1
Cook in the pan – Good product that allows browning to happen in the same pan so fewer things to clean. Cooks food well and having a non-stick surface makes it easy to clean. Pan is also dish washer safe. Would like to see rubber grips for pan for added safety when using pan on the stove top for browning. Show details · 1
Best thing since sliced bread – This slow cooker is perfect for feeding the masses, it's 6.5ltr capacity means it's big enough for a huge family roast as well as cooking meals to freeze. The results of my cooking have been off the chart, cooked to perfection. Enough though this is a beast of a product doesn't mean it won't fit into the dishwasher because it does and washes up… Read more · 2
