Munns Golf Course Green

I've used this product for years and my Sir Walter buffalo lawn always turns dark green - I water it in by hand, beautiful! Problem is spreading it, like many others have said. Never again. This product is disgrace and should be removed from sale. Bunnings please take note if you read this review. few months later and made sure to water it in even more (45 mins). Same result, burnt patches all over the lawn again. Do not use this product.

Used to be a good product but I wouldn't buy now unless I had a rock breaker at home. Not granulated and the fines just clump up. I wish they would get their own product from a store and look. Seems to be packed in a very humid environment to make it go like cement.

Half bag of fertiliser half bad of rock and hard lumps – Was the best fertiliser I had used the product is now very disappointing I spend more time breaking up the brick size hard lumps in the bag also find white stones in the mix around the size of 14mm blue gravel no spreader can break up the lump they are as hard as brick. Coverage concerns – I spread this product by hand as best I could, but ran out after only covering 2/3 of my lawn (or about 100m2, less than half what they claim on the bag). It's only been 5 days since application, and I am seeing darker, greener grass, but only in patches, particularly where I first started spreading, as I then had to use more sparingly soon… Read more

after, knowing the 220m2 coverage was not even close to being accurate. I chose this because a previous neighbour had absolutely amazing results using the product on a lawn about 1.5 times the size of mine. Well, it turns out he used 3 bags to achieve this result, which, whilst it was great, was also very costly. I have given 3 stars at this stage, and that is based on trust that within 2 weeks time, it will hopefully make a big difference (to the areas I reached with it, that is). To Munn's, if you are going to claim 220m2 coverage, you should back that up with more product (a bigger bag), or proof in the form of a detailed video, showcasing how to distribute it and still cover the 220m2 as claimed. Will post again in 9 or 10 days on final opinion.

Best to avoid this one – Terrible product! Has quite a few 3cm rocks in it that anybody's mower would not like. Can't be spread by a hand-cranked spreader...or any spreader for that matter. Quite powdery and blows all over the place in the slightest breeze. Doesn't have anywhere near the 220 sq mt coverage they claim. I used about 1/4 of it and threw the rest of it in the bin. Never again – My usual lawn fertiliser was sold out so I bought two bags of Munns Golf Course Green just based on the description on the bag. Big mistake. coverage. BTW, coverage is MUCH less than expected (or stated on the bag). The result after watering and some good rain is a very patchy lawn colour with areas of vigorous growth and barely any new growth. It isn't a good product if you can't spread it easily or evenly. Not recommended.

Horrible – I used it as directed on my pencross bentgrass lawn. The day i used it we had 40mm of rain and was 18 degrees so it was washed in well. The day after i had yellow patches. Also a yellow tinge to most of the lawn. My lawn went from being a great green colour to yellow and green. What a waste of money.  Show details

This product really delivers results – With so many under performing and over priced garden products out there, this one is exceptional. I applied it according to the instructions and within a week had noticeable results. In two weeks, my lawn transformed from wiry and patchy to thick, vigorous, healthy and green. This non-pelletised fertiliser is good value and highly recommended.
