Honest take – Underrated heavily. Great taste and ingredients don’t have random things in it, very simple. I have shred and burn chocolate but Maybe not good for non-coffee drinkers as it has caffiene Price has gone up now tho, May need to buy directly off website, still better value for money than other ones Show details

Way, Way too sweet – I have been using Vital strength Ripped for years and thought I would try Musashi shred and burn since they were 50% off at CW, I find this to be extremely powdery compared to VS Ripped and also Disgustingly sweet, very very disappointed and willing to give it away after 2 uses or throw the crap in the bin, if anyone wants this powdered crap leave a reply and I will happily post it to you. Show details

I love this protein blend – I had bought shred and burn first before i bought their high protein blend. I love the vanilla shred and burn. It does the job and it tastes excellent. Will be sticking with this one in vanilla flavour. And yes ive lost 3kgs so pretty happy overall. Show details

Amazing taste, great results – First stuff I've ever bought. Marvelous and taste great. Works as well. Obviously you need to work hard and have a strict diet. Great product. Will be staying on this for life. I recommend it to anyone. People who expect excellent flavour and give bad reviews should just go eat a bag of sugar and get diabetes. I only usually add water as well. To… Read more

boost flavour you can just use full cream or even better almond chocolate milk. I once experimented and put it in my earl grey tea which had two raw sugars and a dash of non sweetened almond milk and it tasted like heaven. There are lots of options with this stuff. Do not let the bad reviews deter you. It's cheaper than most other options, easy to access and the labelling is easy to understand. So far I've bought at Woolworths and Chemist Warehouse. I'm thinking of buying their Whey next. So far I have lost 5 kilos in 4 weeks and my muscles have really defined.

Helpful when performing a cut – The Musashi Shred and Burn protein powder is an excellent way to boost your protein intake while keeping calorie intake relatively low, not only.does this help with your fat loss goals but the high protein content aids in muscle growth at the same time. I found when using the product over a few weeks, that it was a delicious and easy way to up my… Read more

protein intake overall. As it came in different flavours I was able to use it in a variety of fun recipes e.g. Choc protein oats, or pancakes.

Would certainly recommend.

Awful – Bought the chocolate flavour by mistake, didn't realise until we opened it so it was too late to return the product for an exchange. As we had the vanilla before, which was reasonably okay, we decided to give it a try. It was ghastly! Even tried using half the recommended amount and it wasn't any better. This was a very costly mistake as we… Read more

bought the large container. Only used it twice and it's now destined for the bin! Rang Musashi only to be told the artificial sweetener (Sucralose) is some 600 times sweetener than natural sugar BUT the positive (as we were told) is that it doesn't contain extra calories! The amount of Sucralose really needs needs to be noted on the packaging so consumers can make a correct choice. If we could give it a '0' rating we would.

Disgusting – This powder is absolutely revolting. I’ve always had musashi vanilla flavour, and the chocolate “high protein” and love them. Bought this because it was in a bigger tub and cannot stomach it. Very disappointed I didn’t stick with what I know.

First Supplement I actually Like to Drink – I bought this on advice from a few friends who are gym people (I'm not) as a help-along to loosing some extra weight I'd put on and maybe build up a bit of a toned body. I'm not aiming to be ripped or shredded, just a nice leaner body. I'm also a 48yo dad who has never really been in shape. Anyway, I mixed this into the 300ml of water and… Read more ·  1

expected to get a watery yuk drink, but was really surprised with how nice it tastes. If I didn't mix it myself I would have said it was mixed with skim milk.

Another suggestion given to me was to also blend a banana into it and you have an awesome meal replacement (I drink mine in the morning only as it has caffeine and Guarana in it). So far have only been using it for 3 weeks every day, and the results are starting to trickle in. Might do an add-on review in a few months with more results? Maybe by then I'll have Abs and not Flabs as my kids say.

PS: Just a quick note, this product contains stimulants including caffeine. If, like me, you are caffeine sensitive you should NOT use this as a post-workout shake later in the day as it will affect sleep. I have had to look for a different post-workout protein and once I find one will review it too.

Horrible after taste – I do not know about the results I have only just tried it. The smell lifting the lid was not appealing some weird smell. It says you can mix it in 200ml-400mls of water. I did 300mls and smelt it again still the same odd smell. Checked the container it is still in date does not go out of date till 2017. With a large amount of trepidation I tasted… Read more

it, mmm. Ot bad tastes like watery chocolate the. The after taste ewwww the taste of the smell I had smelt when opening the container.

I brought if but from now on I'm putting it in 200ml chugging it and eating a cucumber or carrot after it because of the taste. Not buying again. Sorry. Will go back to old brand.

The scoop is better than another brand though.
