Does nothing on removing tea towel, pillowslip stains even when soaked for the day with extra powder. No not contacting customer service, better things to do. Will just replace items.
Two year old white cotton sheets and pillow cases and mens' white undershirts badly yellowed from perspiration. In just one wash at 60° cotton cycle, the stains were removed. I had not expected such a difference, it is remarkable. Show details
This product has been causing bleach marks to my washing and Im devastated. Beautiful new towels, bed linen, expensive clothing. It took me some time to pinpoint the cause and now that I have there's no way Im ever using this product again. It's ruined so many beautiful things.

Have used this product for years. Only recently i have noticed it bleeching my clothing despite following instructions strictly and avoiding contamination with other products. False advertising. Faulty product. Not colour safe and not bleech free as advertised. Show details

White spots all over clothing from a soak and that was the second time as I thought I had contaminated my bucket somehow: NEW BUCKET SAME STAINS- only common denominator was this product. - never buying napisan again. They’ve ruined it!

Very bad product - stop using – Absolutely disgusted - I soaked my $250 worth, 3 month old Gant pants in the powder for less than 1 hour. Discoloured the pants. Contacted Vanish - their advise is read the fine print as this is excluded. Show details

New Stains appear on all the clothes I soaked after using this product! – I'm extremely disappointed and upset. Your stain remover, Vanish Oxi Action completely failed to deliver on its promises. Despite claiming to remove stains, it actually caused new stains to appear on all the clothes I soaked. These stains weren't present before using the product. This experience has been a waste of money, and now I'm forced to purchase a new uniform. Your product doesn't deserve any stars.

I can’t imagine my laundry without this product – Firstly I soak all my whites. I use a bucket and I run hot water first to dissolve the Napisan. Then a little bit of cold water and then my clothes. Then I soak coloureds that are stained in my tub. I think you have to use care and don’t throw anything in that you haven’t washed before or if it’s expensive, get it dry cleaned or patch test at… Read more
the very least. Read the care labels on your clothes. I have always got Vanish Napisan Oxi in my laundry and have used it successfully for years. The price has gone up dramatically though????
Dried in red wine stain completely gone! – Spilled red wine on a flight on a beige T shirt. Stayed for 11 days, got home, used the spray and washed. Dried in red wine stain completely gone. Couldn’t believe it! Always my go to for a reason!!!
Lives up to its name – What a great product, lives up to its name. Is able to get heavy industrial grease and stains out of my sons work clothes from working as a Refrigeration Mechanic that will not come off in a normal wash. Love it!! Show details

This is the worse product. It hasn’t worked in any version ie. Adding to washing machine, soaking or spot cleaning. Thought I would try it again tonight on a white hand towel… it literally looks worse.

Yellow Stains on White Clothes – Unfortunately after purchasing this product ( momentary lapse of memory) an expensive new white top now has yellow stains on it. I searched back on previous contact with the company regarding the same issue. I sent in photos after they requested and details showing the clothes were colour safe. ( although it states their products are coloursafe)… Read more
and after an initial response they never responded. So I haven't contacted them again, but will prepared with photos! I'm actually annoyed with myself for forgetting my original experience! I'm not actually sure how they are still on the shelves!

Ruined my clothes – This absolutely ruined my clothing. I followed the instructions and used it as a spot treatment on some off white jeans and now they look like they have bleach stains, I only recently got them and they were $100 jeans that now look like rags. I took me a long time to want to spend that much on jeans. So disappointed.

Sneezing my head off! – I've been using this product for an extended time: -It appears a fragrance has been added in recent times. I'm highly allergic and am reacting badly to the added scent. This is a recent allergic reaction, not previously experienced when using this product. Show details

Second time occurrence of bleaching – I have been using this or similar napkins products for a few years. This is the second time this has happened to me, the first I thought it was me and the top only cost $2…. But these pants were brand new. It got pen ink on it and I spot treated it. It’s bleached my $80 pants and now I’m wondering if it’s actually any better than vinegar, like my mother has been using for years Show details

How much is 30g? – It seems to work ok but tells you to use 30g for soaking. And to use the measuring lines on the cap ‘for the perfect dose’. Nowhere does it give any hints about what each of those lines represents. They’re just messing with my head ;).
Hello Bill, thank you for your review. The measuring… Read more (+1 reply)
Terrible. I have ruined so many clothes with this product – I have bleached a number of my coloured shirts with this product. At first I thought there was something wrong with my machine, however I realised way too late that it was the Napisan. I wish that I had never used it.

Zero Stars – Doesn't remove stains AT ALL. Bleaches the colour out of the clothes. Leaves bleach stains. Blatant false advertising and a waste of money. What a disgrace. Show details

Absolutely pathetic product and customer service – Hi Your processes are discussing and an absolute joke! As you feel the need to make the process of warranting your product far too hard, asking a ridiculous amount of questions just to find some sort of clause to hide behind. we will no longer be buying your products. Furthermore all of this correspondence will be put on Google reviews for everyone else to beware of your shorty practice. Regards Show details
Bleached vegetable oil stain. Had to throw trousers away – My dad had fish and chips and spilled some oil/grease from teh food onto his navy blue trousers. My sister applied a paste of napisan, then followed the washing directions as stated. The trousers came out with large bleach stains down the leg where the oil spill was ( see photo). This is appalling and really unacceptable. The trousers are being… Read more
thrown in the bin after I take the photo and leave this review. There are obviously bleach, or or other compounds in napisan which react with certain stains. As a food stain is a very common occurrence for clothing, I would have thought its primary use would be removing these stains. This is a major fault with the product. I 'm not sure what alternatives are on the market but this product can not be relied on to do as it boasts, and if it doesn't clean teh stain it will destroy your clothing.

Ruined my new white linen shirt – Used the spray to remove a little stain. My shirt is now covered in yellow stains. Now the top is ruined! Never use this product again!! Show details
Definitely can live without this product – This product has now ruined two pieces of clothing the first time I called the company and they advise me to read the instructions again. I did and took full responsibility for the first piece of expensive clothing. I have since read the instructions and it’s still bleached one of my favourite T-shirts and now has pinkish purple spots everywhere Definitely can live without this product.? Show details
Makes Stains Worse – Used to remove small collar grime from three plain white business shirts. All three shirts now have bright orange stains all over the collar, and seeping down into the rest of the shirt. To re-iterate, the shirt was white, with a small mark, and is now orange after using the product.
Not happy – I made a paste up of the oxy wash advance (colour safe) ? Definitely not colour safe as after taking my shirt out of the wash it had yellowing stains on my rust/ orange coloured shirt where I had rubbed the paste in. Not impressed at all as it was my favourite shirt which is now ruined. Unless there is a way of getting rid of the yellowing stain?… Read more
Definitely would not buy or recommend this product. Especially for the price you pay for this product. I have never had this problem with cheaper brands ever. If you would be able to let me know if this can be rectified. Thank you Mel.
This adds stains doesn't remove them – I have one stain on the front of a new white t shirt. I rubbed soaked and washed it with oxi action crystal whitener, and it is now covered in yellow stains.. absolute waste of time and money, definitely would not recommend Show details
I swore this use to work fine – I have been using this powder for ten years. I use it for soaking stained items, or adding to washes that need a bit more disinfecting. But in the last 3 years there have been items of clothing that have had huge red bleach stains on black items - I had no idea where from, but now after soaking black item specifically- huge bleach stains have… Read more

Cuaesd yellow stain – Used Vanish Oxi Action Gold spray in 2 new white garments and followed instructions. Both now have a yellow stain where we used the spray. Very disappointed. Wrecked our new clothes
put holes in my new jumper! – I got a tiny stain on my new (worn once) cream wool/cashmere jumper, so I put some of the powder in a bowl to soak it (instructions said hand wash in cold water) went back half an hour later and where the powder had stuck are now 2 holes! It has literally destroyed it Show details
Bleached my dress – Applied to make a paste on a small food stain, washed and tunes out it has bleached and ruined my expensive linen dress. Definitely not colour safe despite the claims and the ads. Show details
