Vanish Napisan Oxi Action

Does nothing on removing tea towel, pillowslip stains even when soaked for the day with extra powder. No not contacting customer service, better things to do. Will just replace items.

This product has been causing bleach marks to my washing and Im devastated. Beautiful new towels, bed linen, expensive clothing. It took me some time to pinpoint the cause and now that I have there's no way Im ever using this product again. It's ruined so many beautiful things.

I can’t imagine my laundry without this product – Firstly I soak all my whites. I use a bucket and I run hot water first to dissolve the Napisan. Then a little bit of cold water and then my clothes. Then I soak coloureds that are stained in my tub. the very least. Read the care labels on your clothes. I have always got Vanish Napisan Oxi in my laundry and have used it successfully for years. The price has gone up dramatically though????

Dried in red wine stain completely gone! – Spilled red wine on a flight on a beige T shirt. Stayed for 11 days, got home, used the spray and washed. Dried in red wine stain completely gone. Couldn’t believe it! Always my go to for a reason!!!

Lives up to its name – What a great product, lives up to its name. Is able to get heavy industrial grease and stains out of my sons work clothes from working as a Refrigeration Mechanic that will not come off in a normal wash. Love it!! Show details

This is the worse product. It hasn’t worked in any version ie. Adding to washing machine, soaking or spot cleaning. Thought I would try it again tonight on a white hand towel… it literally looks worse.

Yellow Stains on White Clothes – Unfortunately after purchasing this product ( momentary lapse of memory) an expensive new white top now has yellow stains on it. I searched back on previous contact with the company regarding the same issue. I sent in photos after they requested and details showing the clothes were colour safe. and after an initial response they never responded. So I haven't contacted them again, but will prepared with photos! I'm actually annoyed with myself for forgetting my original experience! I'm not actually sure how they are still on the shelves!

Ruined my clothes – This absolutely ruined my clothing. I followed the instructions and used it as a spot treatment on some off white jeans and now they look like they have bleach stains, I only recently got them and they were $100 jeans that now look like rags. I took me a long time to want to spend that much on jeans. So disappointed.

How much is 30g? – It seems to work ok but tells you to use 30g for soaking. And to use the measuring lines on the cap ‘for the perfect dose’. Nowhere does it give any hints about what each of those lines represents. They’re just messing with my head ;).

Terrible. I have ruined so many clothes with this product – I have bleached a number of my coloured shirts with this product. At first I thought there was something wrong with my machine, however I realised way too late that it was the Napisan. I wish that I had never used it.

Zero Stars – Doesn't remove stains AT ALL. Bleaches the colour out of the clothes. Leaves bleach stains. Blatant false advertising and a waste of money. What a disgrace. Show details

Bleached vegetable oil stain. Had to throw trousers away – My dad had fish and chips and spilled some oil/grease from teh food onto his navy blue trousers. thrown in the bin after I take the photo and leave this review. There are obviously bleach, or or other compounds in napisan which react with certain stains. As a food stain is a very common occurrence for clothing, I would have thought its primary use would be removing these stains. This is a major fault with the product. I 'm not sure what alternatives are on the market but this product can not be relied on to do as it boasts, and if it doesn't clean teh stain it will destroy your clothing.

Definitely can live without this product – This product has now ruined two pieces of clothing the first time I called the company and they advise me to read the instructions again. I did and took full responsibility for the first piece of expensive clothing. Makes Stains Worse – Used to remove small collar grime from three plain white business shirts. All three shirts now have bright orange stains all over the collar, and seeping down into the rest of the shirt. To re-iterate, the shirt was white, with a small mark, and is now orange after using the product.

Not happy – I made a paste up of the oxy wash advance (colour safe) ? Definitely not colour safe as after taking my shirt out of the wash it had yellowing stains on my rust/ orange coloured shirt where I had rubbed the paste in. Definitely would not buy or recommend this product. Especially for the price you pay for this product. I have never had this problem with cheaper brands ever. If you would be able to let me know if this can be rectified. Thank you Mel.

I swore this use to work fine – I have been using this powder for ten years. I use it for soaking stained items, or adding to washes that need a bit more disinfecting. Cuaesd yellow stain – Used Vanish Oxi Action Gold spray in 2 new white garments and followed instructions. Both now have a yellow stain where we used the spray. Very disappointed. Wrecked our new clothes
