Freezes constantly

Bought this gps, worked well for few days. Started freezing and glitching. Had it sent back got it back was told is fine just a charger fault lasted 10 mins before freezing and failing to navigate. This gps will direct you off Hume hwy and send you into towns when you clearly don’t need to go saying your over weight for hwy. waste of money just use apple maps

Purchased in March 2019 at Harvey Norman for $580.00.

Screen Freezes

published

I bought this unit 2 weeks ago, and the screen freezes on every trip.
The last trip it froze within the first minute, and never came back.
The dashcam & alerts are working in the background, but the screen doesn't update, so as a GPS it's useless.
I've had numerous Navman units over the years, including the C60,MY60T, MY350LMT, MiVue Drive LM, MiVue Drive FHD, and now the Big Rig Duo.
The combination GPS & Dashcam has improved, but this latest unit is unusable as a GPS,

Purchased in December 2019 at Harvey Norman for $378.00.

Hi Ned,

We are sorry to know that you are having problems with your device. Not to worry, we are here to help.

The first thing I would suggest is to charge the device via in-car power/AC adapter for 30 mins or 1 hr via USB cable to your computer. Then while on charge, perform a hard reset to the device by poking the reset hole at the back.

If the problem persists, we may need to perform Smart Recovery on the NavDesk2. Please follow the steps from the link below.

Hope this helps. Otherwise, feel free to email our support team at PCNSupportAus@navman.com.au
