This camera has great day time footage and average night time footage, it miles better that other cameras I have used in day time. You can actually see number plates especially with the 4K surround model. There is a few negatives though, but image quality is 90% of what matters to a dash camera. This camera comes with no instructions and is one of the most complicated cameras I've had to set up. There are only 4 SD cards that Navman recommends you use with this camera and they are all hard to find and expensive. The screen is terrible . Connecting to the App is ridicules, requiring you to scan an code and set up the connection every time. The screen sits flat on the window , angling it down at the floor, the PC app never works so you have to use third party software to view images.

Excelent Dashcam Purchased the MiVue PRO 4K DC from jb hifi works flawlessly out of the box very clear footage from both front & rear cameras. Looking at buying another two for my other cars. Very happy with my purchase.

Rear Camera not working out of the box – After numerous headaches with the previous 1100 and 1200 models with the rear camera dropping out for funsies, I was stupid enough to buy their latest 4K DC hoping it would improve the situation given they ditched the imbecilic "Y Cable" for connecting the rear camera. Oh how I was wrong. Again an 8m long USB cable with no ferrite core to reduce interference. Troubleshooting steps include unwinding the whole cord to ensure EMI is not the problem. Done all that and still not working, either its EMI on the USB cable (poor design) or defective (poor quality control).
Navman did offer return and refund but would not compensate for installation/removal costs wasted by their faulty product.
