Useless Product – This dash cam does not pick most of the red-light or speed cameras. Contacted Navman and send back to update but nothing changed. Just useless. Unwanted alerts always "put the headlight on", "car infront of you". I don't recommend this products to anyone.

Hi Biju, I am sorry for the experience you have had. When a discrepancy in the safety camera data is reported, we check and confirm this data, and then forward this information on to our mapping provider, to then update in a future safety camera release.

If you have previously reported a discrepancy to us, please provide your ticket number, and we will be able to look further into this for you.

765 junk – Nothing stays turned off, always wants card to be formatted, safety cams where no cams are, to close to car in front when no car insight, head lights in the middle of the day, it's going in the bin.

Ordinary – Purchase the Navman 765 in June 2021. After turning off the annoying vehicle in front and lane departure, the Navman worked ok, until it started turning off for no reason. Replace the sd card twice, 32gb sandisk, never change a thing. This Navman would turn off, next time I would started the car the 765 would work for awhile then turn off. I’ve returned it to the seller under warranty for replacement and will wait and see what the next one is like. If the same, I will ask for a refund and purchase something else, that will do the job. Battery never seems to charge above low.

Purchased in at Strathfield Car Radios.

Hi Gazza, Thanks for the review. Not all Sandisk SD card's will be suitable, in fact most SD cards made by Sandisk are not covered by their warranty for use in dash cameras, please be sure to use a high endurance MicroSD card specifically designed for use in dashcams and that it is covered by the manufactures warranty.

You can visit our website here: external link  for a list of SD cards we can recommend

The Battery in your MiVUE765 is designed to be used to save the last video file in the event of a power loss during an accident, it does not require to be fully charged to do this.

Im glad to hear the retailer is assisting you, if we can be of any more assistance, feel free to private message us with your contact information, or send an email to pcnsupportaus@navman.com.au

Thank you Navman for your reply. I have received a new MiVue765, so far seems to work with the sandisk 32gb card, I note that Navman recommend not to use U3 cards in this model as they are not compatible, according to the info data accompanying the device. The cards I use in this and the previous 765 are sandisk ultra 32gb 10 uhs1. (High endurance cards all seem to be U3). I’ve also used these 32gb cards in my previous other dash cams without issue. I will now wait and see if any issues arise with the new 765, so far so good after a week, but seems to be better than the one I returned under warranty.

Hi Gazza, Its great to hear the new MiVUE765 is working well for you. regarding the MicroSD card, we have updated our advice for your device, and the U3 SanDisk High Endurance is suitable for use in the device. we strongly recommend against using SanDisk Ultra, as these are not suitable for use in dash cams.

If in doubt please always refer to our website for the most up to date information

After using the new Mivue 765, for approx. a couple of weeks and then updating today with U3 sandisk high endurance card, the dash cam is going well and I have experience no problems so far. Thanks Navman for your input, it was most helpful, hopefully there will be no more issues, as Navman are my preferred device for motoring. I have also up dated my star rating, to reflect the new item.

After using this Navman for a few years now I have found it to excellent, after initial issues and resolution to the problems. This is an excellent product, easy to use, review, update and download data. Navman provide great products, they standby what they sell. It’s the only navigation and dashcam product I buy for our cars. Thanks Navman from your assistance with this and other devices and accessories. AAA

The camera works well, the extras are irritating – Split into 2 parts - the camera speed display and MiVue work well, but the extras can be irritating IF they cannot be turned off. 'Put headlights on', at midday in a covered carpark. The FCWS plinked plinked - 'crashes' repeatedly into many white posts or white lines AND it cannot be turned OFF or muted. If your car already has a crash warning system you don't need two, especially an indiscriminate one. AVOID any model where the FCWS cannot be turned off.

Purchased in at on line.

Hi boggle103, Sorry to hear you are having issues with your MiVue765.

You can turn off the FCWS and LDWS features. To do this:

To turn off LDWS:

Select Menu > Driving Safety > LDWS > OFF

perhaps I will send you the numerous emails from NM on this subject

I have now turned everything off, I suspect on narrow roads, white posts and edge paint prompt Lane Deviation LDWS, this does not however explain my 'crashes' as seen on the display. On checking I had turned the FCWS off. I will see if the plink plink continues and report back.

I have turned everything off (driving safety) the plink plink has now gone. I suspect white side lines, narrow winding roads and white side posts close to the edge of the road.
