Absolutely Awful – What on earth have they done, this is bitter and bland with an awful sludge at the bottom of the cup, used to love the original but won't buy now anymore, tastes just like cheap coffee now. Show details

Noticed the difference immediately – This morning I opened a new 100g jar of Nescafe Decaf and noticed the disagreeable flavour change straight away, which prompted me to investigate and thereby discover I am not the only one. I detect vanilla overtones which I detest. I have been drinking and enjoying the original Decaf for over18 months but will not be purchasing it again unless I… Read more ·  1

hear the flavour has improved. Batch use by Sep 2021 92623657 10:56. My opinion changed after the jar had been opened for a couple of days and the flavour improved.

Tasteless coffee – A VERY tasteless coffee, needs an extra measure and some sugar to give it some flavour. Also it leaves a residue in the cup. There are many better products than this available fortunately. Will avoid buying this again. Show details

New stile decaf is crap – The old style Gold decaf I found to be great but the new revamped version does not taste good at all and leaves a nasty residue in the cup bottom. Nescafe must be using inferior ingredients. When I think about it there always seemed to be a shortage of the old style decaf in the shops. They must have been short of the good ingredients and have cobbled up this bloody awful replacement. Sack your project staff!

I shall not be buying this again – I have been drinking Gold Blend and decaf gold Blend for at least 40years. (In uk) I first noticed a catering pack of coffee in a new tin had gone bad after I had taken out half. It had gone black and was a hard crystallised lump. I had to throw it away as it smelt bad. What a waste of money. Then another original pack also did the same. Then I… Read more

noticed a sludge on the bottom of the cup and the china stained badly. Another catering pack also was thrown away. We then tried 200 g jars. The taste is poor and liquid is thin and tastes bitter. we are now going to experiment with different brands. We are not paying extra for this.

“If it an’t broke :don’t fix it” is a good saying.

Best decaf on the shelves – I am a coffee lover but have had to drink decaf for a number of years. I tried all the different brands of decaf and Nescafe Gold Decaf stood out from the rest. It was so much better than any other instant decaf available in Australian supermarkets. I am finding it harder to find though. Please don't stop making it.

Disappointed – Have brought it for years...loved it...they have changed the ingredients somehow....it doesn't dissolve or taste smooth and creamy.... Buying supermarket brand now.

Why change it – I won't be purchasing this again, flavour not as good and off putting residue left in bottom of your cup

Yum – This is the best instant decaf I’ve found anywhere! I love the deep rich flavour and won’t be drinking anything else after 5pm now I’ve found this.

Still – I had read many negative reports of this coffee and was so surprised so wrote my own about just how good I feel this decaf is. I just want to state that after all this time I still find it to be delicious and can barely taste any difference from the cafeinated. I still give it a 4 or 5 star rating. If you want a good strong decaf then this is the one for you.

Very poor, bitter taste – I believe the bitterness I taste in Nescafe Gold Decaf is due to ver roasting of the beans. I will not buy it again. It is time to get back to Moccona
