New lable means a change of taste?? – I have just opened a new jar of intense coffee and it was anything but. I have to use at least 50% more granules to get a taste closer to what I would expect. I have 3 more jars yet to open, if this taste difference continues, I will be be exploring other makes or producers. Show details

Was the greatest! – Nescafe - You even sent me a sample. I was hooked! You have weakened the aroma and flavour, doesn't have that punch any more. Very Disappointed! Gone to Moccona cappuccino instead. Show details

Use to be great...but like Maccona it has fallen from it's lofty perch – When this use to be in the tin (believe we all know the tin) it use to be unbelievably perfect (imho) but since like Maccona, they changed certain aspects of brewing to leave us with a downgraded version of its former glory. I don't honestly know or understand why they changed it, to save a few $$$ yet given us a poorer coffee. Having said… Read more

that being a coffee addict (15 to 20 cups per normal day) I like to enjoy coffee & well this is the best of a falling dynasty of once great coffee brands..i won't buy cheap coffee or even Blend 43 to me it all taste like dirt with a bean thrown in. In Blend 43 case 43 beans per 1kg of dirt.

Look in the end I still enjoy this coffee & now that for what ever reason it's price has dropped to $11.50 for me that is about right. The old Intense no issue with paying the $18.

Summing up it's better (imho) then any other coffee by a mile. At a pinch I use to drunk gold if this was not on special. A few years ago I would of rated it 5 * today it's a 3* with all other coffees not coming close.

If only there was a campaign vote – If only there was a campaign vote to kick this coffee out to the kerb! I’m with you all who put one star & I am sure if we could put 0 stars we would! This coffee tastes terrible! The one I’m drinking is the new Nescafé Gold Intense and it’s just an absolute awful taste! I noticed on back of jar it says made in Switzerland. I’ve also tasted the… Read more

new Nescafé Gold Original & it’s just as bad as the new intense flavour - the jar on back says made in Korea. Unless they change it back, from now on I will only be purchasing Nescafé Blend 43 from the Nescafé coffees, that one is made in Australia. Why is Australia now getting the Gold range made elsewhere when originals they had before were far better! Obviously Australia is trying to save costs but what a failure! Bring back the original gold your people love!!!

Rich and smooth – Perfect coffee for busy mums and chill times. Rich and smooth. It’s such a favourite perfect with it without milk.

Ripoff – Weak taste per teaspoon making it a ripoff compared to the old packaging in the 190g tin. Taste disappointing.

Love the taste and that it’s cost effective! – I love the flavour of the Nescafé gold intense - I normally use 2 teaspoons with each cofffee with 3/4 cup of milk and 1/4 cup water. I love that it’s much cheaper than buying a coffee every day without sacrificing on taste.

Gold in name only – I`m a huge fan of Nescafe Expresso so I know that the Nescafe can make excellent instant coffee BUT I found Nescafe Gold simply awful - its certainly doesn`t taste like premium coffee to me in fact I would go so far as to say that virtually any budget priced instant coffee is better than this How it justifies a premium price mystifies me.

Why did you delete Gold Dark? – Gold Dark was the only instant coffee we would drink and you have replaced it with Intense - boy was that a huge mistake. Intense is horrible! It doesn't disolve properly and leaves a bitter residue in my cup, the flavour is bitter. Why on earth did you delete Gold Dark? Until you bring it back - you have lost us as customers.
