There is literally nothing like them, as for declining sales I find that hard to believe u just have to see the groups missing them and wanting them back on Facebook and other forums to know that is crap.. so many new products launched are rubbish junk that have heaps of the exact same thing.. as for retail space ? if u get rid of the many dupe products they have there would be plenty of room.. just last year I was talking to one of the young guys on the checkout at the supermarket and was saying how much I miss them and he said he pretty much gets comments weekly from customers wanting them back..

Exactly well said these were so immensely popular back in the day. I have a whole generation of friends that miss them dearly. It's seems like most companies when they have a brilliant product they stop making them. Go figure.

Space food sticks were the only good snack that Nestle produced Nothing else in your entire product range comes close to these. Please bring them back !!!!!

Why didn’t nestle reply to me. I raised very fair points. Maybe because I’m right and they are just too scared to admit. Either way, I’m very hungry now and I know that with a space food stick in my hand, I would be satisfied immensely. Without doubt.

Hi Harry, as we have mentioned in other comments, we made the tricky decision to discontinue this product based on declining sales and popularity, retail shelf space and to make way for new products. Sadly we don’t currently have plans for Space Food Sticks to return, but thanks for taking the time to share your feedback. Our space food sticks can not be recreated with readily accessible ingredients in a home kitchen, so we aren't able to share a recipe at this time .

Hi Richard, we appreciate that there will always be some loyal fans. Space Food Sticks can’t easily be replicated in a household kitchen although we’re sorry you’ve been missing them. At this time, we don’t have plans for Space Food Sticks to re-join our range, although we’ll be sure to share your feedback with our team.

Easy to make, flour,water, sugar, milo or choc powder, make a dough , and steam[put the dough in to a bowl ,put bowl in to a pot with some water in the bottom and boil/stem for 10 minutes], then cut into squares.

What ratio do you use for the ingredients?

Have you thought of releasing them as twin packs instead of box? They are really handy when camping or hiking as a snack, and the chocolate removes the blandness of other energy bars.

Unfortunately, have not seen these in any of the shops for many years now! Catch of the Day was apparently selling them online a while back however, I haven't been able to get them myself. Please let me know if you find them, particularly the Caramel, which was my all time fave! Good luck with your search! ;)

If you're going to lie, at least make the lie believable, especially on the Internet where people can quickly go and find out that you are LYING. What could possibly be so difficult in the manufacture of a food that was first produced in the 1960's??? Are you SERIOUSLY trying to tell us that FIFTY YEARS LATER you can't produce these with modern equipment? There's nothing special or complicated about the ingredients or the manufacturing process. We live in an age when people pay huge amounts of money for protein bars, and other products in the same category, so stop LYING, especially when these things were produced again in 2019 to commemorate the 50 year anniversary of landing on the Moon. If you want to keep customers then the best thing to do is be HONEST with us, because your LIES do NOT inspire us to buy your other products, they inspire us to BOYCOTT your products...

No one knows when they're coming back on the shop shelves.. we miss them too, esp. the caramel ones,, its a shame ,they got discontinued, in the first place.. And... Nestles, bring them back... Please..

I too want this back. All well and good to say 'Hope you discover a new favorite' at the end of the day this was our favorite and we want to see it return. It would have helped sales if the product was put on shelves where people could see them. At times when I tried to find them they were tucked away hiding on the bottom shelf.

Yes! I’d be happy to start one. I did this when I wanted TOOBS brought back, and they listened. Also when I suggested Allen’s Pineapples be in their own bag..that also happened. I’ve been trying for years to get PIZZA HUT PETE back as well. But yeah let’s do it.

As far as I am aware thry no longer make them and Im so sad about it. I loved the caramel ones. They were the best little snack on the go. I wish they would bring them back.

Jesus Jones,ALL Quest I've tried have been horrible, with that same texture & that same bitter aftertaste. Come to think , I don't really remember being a big fan of the sticks. Can't recall there even being caramel ones.
