DIDN'T GO TILL 30M – We bought the camera AW130 December 2016. We went in a diving trip for 3 days.. We purchased the camera thinking about this trip. We tested the camera few days before to be sure everything was working. We took the camera for the first dive of the trip, something around the 18m depth and the camera stopped working... We came back to Nikon Australia, they replaced it.

In May 2017 I took it for a dive around 27m (the camera is advertised to go till 30m). The LCD was crashed after the dive. They said it was my fault.. that I've damage it or it has felt over the floor. That is not true. the camera was in my BCD pocket! They said the warranty wasn't going to cover it and it was too expensive to fix it.

Don't buy this camera from Nikon Australia

Tough! This camera lived up to tough and waterproof – I purchased this camera for my 12 year old son for Christmas in 2015. It needed to be tough and waterproof. I am so glad that I bought this tough waterproof camera for him. In September 2016 we were on holidays and during a family walk at Wilpena Pound in South Australia the now 13 year old runs ahead and sees a river crossing (previously a small trickle of water was now a 10 meter width raging river about knee high) lots of trees and logs for him to swing along. I arrived at the river crossing and ask about the camera he had in his hoodie pocket.....he can't find the camera and says it must have fallen out in the river when he was climbing the trees and playing in the river before I arrived. Angry, Angry mum! My son and a family friend went back the next day about 28 hours later as the water receded a little and they stuck their hands into the muddy freezing waters and on the 3rd go my son couldn't believe it when our friend pulled out his camera from the muddy water. He was even more astonished when he turned on the camera and it worked and all his photos were visible. He took a selfie of his very happy face. We rinsed the camera in fresh clean water then put it in a bag of rice....just in case. The camera is in fine working order after being submerged in freezing muddy water for 28 hours. Very happy that this camera lived up to expectations and more. Thank you Nikon.
