I have damaged my B700 and cannot replace it as the model is discontinued. Is there a replacement (upgrade) from Nikon? The P900 is to big and doesn't have the features of the B700.

I have a B700- less than 2 years old that I wouldn’t like to sell if you’re interested? (Ready for a DSLR now)

Can I use a Toshiba SDHC UHS-1 Card in a Nikon B700 Camera?

Hi Ron

We have only ever used Sandisk cards in all our cameras and at the moment it has an SDHC1 32gig and it works fine. As your card code just stands for ultra high speed it will still work, it may not run as fast as it would in a high end DSLR

Hi, thanks for your question - however this is the first Nikon I have owned so I have nothing for comparison. Suggest that you do some research on the two models, there should be plenty of online reviews of Nikon products, I know I found this very helpful in my search for the right camera. If it helps, I wanted a fairly basic, light weight digital SLR camera with good picture quality to take product shots of handcrafted goods I sell on eBay, and for pics to accompany articles I write for local newspapers and websites. The B700 fulfills all these tasks superbly, plus there is the added bonus of that incredible zoom. It really depends on what you want the camera for. Hope this helps.

This is my first Nikon and I’m not a professional. B700 is light weight and zooms great. Please look for what you want. I wanted an average camera for all purposes and it’s okay. Had some software problems but was able to fix it myself. For close ups or clarity I suggest other models.
