Good for general picture – I've had my camera about 12 months. I can get some not too shabby shots out of it but forget it if you want to take pictures of anything in motion. All I seem to get is blurry pictures no matter the setting. Like that it uses AA batteries. Lovely big screen. Videos are clear. Price, love it in red, has the ability to produce great shots No good for motion themed pictures, lag (time it takes to record image) is definately not quick

cool – after reading so many positive reviews (i did a lot of online research) i was disappointed with the picture quality. Then after reading the instruction manual ,(i promise you only have to read it once) the pictures are great even at full zoom the Vibration reduction works well. if you are looking for slr camera with multiple lens and suitcase to transport it all look elsewere. if you are looking for a good quality camera with lots of features but don`t wont to pay a fortune, or get a science degree this may be your next camera.I love it.the red looks really sexy simple and reliable great pix`s & cheap @ $275.00 i think it sould come with case or bag

Nothing amazing – I recently bought the nikon l120 after window shopping and reading every possible review ever since it was released. Great Price amongst its rivals however its not a camera for me. I want something that has great picture quality and to me its not so different from the canon sx100. Perhaps worth paying the extra few hundred for something with better quality. But if your after something easy to use with extra zoom lots of functions including night, pets, kids, sports etc and not after amazing quality its an ideal camera. I like the fact that it runs on AA battery as it is always much more conveinient for me to carry extra rechargable batteries and a 15 min recharger vs an expensive lithium battery which i am prone to losing.

I love the cherry red although i had initially wanted the black one. It was the last one in store so i agreed to the colour but now absoloutly LOVE the colour.

I read a lot of reviews and it certainly seems to beat all its rivals so it might be the camera for you but i will take it back tommorrow for a refund and save up for something abit more sophisticated. I love the cherry red and like the fact that it has a lens cover. It also looks very professional. I purchased it for 298 including 2 yrs extended warranty and 4 gig mem card I dont like the picture quality, for me its not worth carrying the weight for the picture quality it provides. I would rather use something much slimmer and compact.

Have had it for few months. The outdoor shots are excellent, very bright. But the indoor shots are disappointing. The faces are blurred most of time.I think the face detection & image stabilisation is not upto mark.
