Best Camera – We bought it from a recommendation and are very happy with it. The wifi for loading photos to my phone and laptop is wonderful. The photos are wonderful. Very happy so far, no problems. Show details
Best value for money – Powerful focus, point and shoot is the best feature. Large view screen is perfect for different angles to get the perfect shot. Nice and light . NFC feature is great for transferring pictures from coolpix to smart phone. Love it Show details
Disappointing – I tossed up between this and the canon sx70 and thought I’d give Nikon a go as I’ve been a Canon user for awhile now. I was looking for a camera I could take to concerts with a great zoom. This certainly delivers on the zoom but that’s about it - I’ve taken great shots of the moon but as far as anything that moves,it’s near impossible to get a… Read more
clear shot. I took it to a school production and almost every shot is blurry...it’s great for outside in daylight for subjects with little movement and it feels nice to hold with a satisfying shutter sound but that’s about it.The viewfinder is also terrible. I have tried every setting with no luck, if I could return it,I would but I’ve had it for a few months, even though it’s mainly sat in the box while I use my dslr. I wish I had hired one for a day or used it more in store because I wouldn’t have purchased at all... or bought from Teds where they have a 30 day change of mind policy. I would be curious to see how the new Canon sx70 compares, maybe I am expecting too much? I feel as though I wasted the money and it wasn’t a cheap camera either!
Dave S – Had the camera for about 6 months I have been through all the you tube instructions but Wi-Fi connection does not work I had to go & buy battery charger & cables to connect to computer I have problems getting photos from camera. downloaded Nikon software to see if that would & it corrupted my computer so I went out & bought a new computer the… Read more
picture quality is there but all the extras I have had to buy blows the cost out I could have paid someone to take the photos for me. I bought it because a professional photograph recommendation. This is the last Nikon product I will ever own. The extra expense & headaches it has given me makes me really regret buy it
Not As Good As I Had Hoped – The zoom is this camera’s best feature but it has trouble focusing on distant subjects, prefering to focus on a blade of grass or leaf infront of the subject, regardless of the focus area selected in the settings. Focus is soft, not sharp. Good depth of field can not be obtained with the limited f stops. Best results are from the camera’s many… Read more
shooting scenes not the Aperture A or speed S priority dial. My 10 year old Nikon D70 delivers better results, but the P900 wins as a travel camera for grab shots.
"All In One" – Incredible Zoom!..and amazed by the simplicity of this camera. It certainly is a one of kind from Nikon. Has everything you need from Auto quick action point and shoot, to time laps quick settings and high definition movie making and its light weight too! This camera is a one stop shop! Its a shame that its going to be a discontinued model.Grab one before they run out! Show details
Magical camera – As I love doing wildlife shots this camera with it's massive zoom is perfect for me and the photos turn out perfect every time. The only thing I don't really like about it is the tiny on/off button. With fat fingers, it can be hard to depress. Needs to be a bigger button and be sitting up higher. But, even saying that, I would still definitely buy this camera, it's awesome. Show details
The best travel camera – I have this camera now for more than 2 years. Wherever I go, it’s with me, and I managed to get many great and terrific shots! With the huge zoom, I can let the camera go, where I am unable to go myself. For closeups, I don’t have to disturb anyone or anything, the 84x will catch the butterflies or lions! No piles of extra lenses or attachments to… Read more

Ser. No 25002783. Lost the receipt, forgot the purchase date. Bought it soon after it appeared inSydney Australia
Fantastic Camera! Take it everywhere – Love this camera! Got it as a Christmas gift, and absolutely love it! Take it everywhere with me and have gotten some wicked shots from it. The extra zoom part is the best! Can take such clear photos of the moon. Would recommend this camera to anyone and everyone. Nikon provide quality products and this is just another one of those. Perfect for what it was intended – I did some research and decided to purchase a P900 as it was the best at the time. I was looking for a camera that would allow close-ups of objects far away and without having to lug various lenses around. As I was taking photos of the cricket and Aussie Rules, this camera gave me the freedom to scan in and take photos that would see most other… Read more · 3
cameras struggle. I've even had photos published in local magazines and newspapers such is the quality of the shot produced. One thing to remember is that it needs something to rest on to prevent movement so I have it attached to either a monopod or a tripod. Even though it has a setting to reduce shaking, because my subjects are so far away it just gives me piece of mind knowing that my shots are shudder free.
Not the greatest camera – Very hard to use not just a point and shoot model, hand holding and trying to zoom is not great on a tripod it works fine, but the photos are brilliant but this is a semi professional camera it's not a toy, But it does work ..and for $500 buks it's a winner.. Show details
Not worth it – We've had nothing but trouble with the camera. This is the second time we've had to return it to the shop to be repaired. The select button keeps changing from auto focus to night scene without even touching it. Makes it impossible to take a photo. A total regretful purchase Show details
Mixed feelings – Not sure what to think of the new Nikon P900, I purchased it purposely for the zoom lens, so far am unable to zoom clearly past the half way mark of the zoom bar, it becomes very distorted and blurred, nothing like what i've seen on the online reviews from overseas where they manage to clearly see the craters of the moon. The manual doesnt really explain how to get that kind of vision. So far not really impressed.
