Dont buy this if you want a vacuum that actually sucks up dirt.... Nilfisk?....Nilsucks more like it – I bought this 2 in 1 cleaner and have used it 3-4 times. times, it just rotates sucking and dropping dirt at the same time. So very disappointed, I feel I have been ripped off. I already have a lightweight stick Hoover which works brilliantly and has excellent suction but wanted 2 in 1 for caravan and there were no Hoovers available at the time....that will teach me, next time I will wait and read these reviews before making the same mistake.

Totally dissapointed and angry after getting in touch with Nilfisk on 4 different occasions – I bought the Nilfisk Handy which would not charge after only 3 weeks.I have now been in touch either by phone and emails. replacement due to me living over 200 k's from any service agent. Also each of them have told me that I should receive it in approximately 5 working days.

THIS SAGA HAS BEEN GOING ON SINCE MID' JANUARY.

I have now seen that Nilfisk have discontinued these.

Not impressed, wish there was satisfaction guaranteed or your money back – The positives are: it's easy to store and easy to give a quick run around in general areas Negatives: Not great suction, have to repeatedly go over same area. Due to 2-in-1 set up it can't get under drawers, cabinets etc as the unit is too high compared to a normal vacuum hose

I drilled into a wall and needed to vacuum the dust on skirting board and carpet and this machine couldn't do it

Can't do cobwebs in corners

Would be ok as a second vacuum but price point is too high at $200.

Lost its appeal quickly - threw it out after 6 months – Loved it at first BUT.....Lightweight, cordless, ergonomic. spend more time pulling it all apart and cleaning it than using it - a dud!

Update: Threw it out and replaced it with a Dyson v6 stick and much happier with the design and performance.

Dirt just keeps rolling out of the brush wheel and back onto the floor, doesn't suck up anything – I have a small 1 bed apartment with wooden floors throughout and bought this hoover as it's compact and chordless. I'm an engineer so I'm a stickler for instructions, I disconnect the power as soon as the unit is fully charged yet the battery failed within a month (4 uses) and had to be returned to the shop. hasn't failed but the hoover won't suck up crumbs from the kitchen floor, I end up sweeping with a brush. Before each use I have to empty the hoover that somehow manages to be full of light dust. It's awkward to empty due to its design so I need to use disposable chopsticks to reach clogged areas. The roller brush at the base is constantly clogged with hair and needs to be cleaned by hand before each use and even then, still just rolls the crumbs around and back onto the floor. Finally after a long process of preparation, de-clogging every mechanism on the hoover including the badly design dust collection area, I lift the hoover to place it back onto the charger and most of the dirt falls back onto the floor. Worst electrical item I have ever bought, it's so frustrating to use and completely pointless! I'd buy a sweeping brush before I'd buy another one of these Nilfisk hoovers.

Not Recommended – Had one for about 3 years. Suction has always been mediocre, as is the running time between charges. It is also very fiddly to put onto the charging stand. Now the battery has died and not worth the cost of replacing. Very disappointed in the product and would not recommend it to anyone.

Only had it 2 days but so far delighted – I suffer with a bad back and find my normal vacuum cleaner leaves me in great pain for days, but this is so light , easy to manage , and the hand held part, goes where the other one can't reach and it is so quiet , I can use it at night when I feel most energetic

I have to agree – That this is a fantastic little cleaner, handy, easily stored, stands up right on its own, which most of the other models do not. Drawback is that the suction nozzle on the detachable vacuum part blocks up with cat hair. Faster method is to shove a piece of wire shaped as a hook up the nozzle and hook the hair out. No big deal and it is cleaned in seconds. Definitely one of my best buys. Handy Just un-blocking tge nozzle for cat haid

Poor Battery Life – We purchased the Handy 2in1 a bit over a year ago and the batteries are useless already and it doesn't get used full time and they are not easy to replace, we have been told you can get replaceable batteries but it would nearly cost as much as a new cleaner to get them fitted. I also think they have poor suction compared to the Electrolux. Very disappointed

Fantastic small but strong vaccy – I found this Nilfisk to do exactly what i wanted and more !!! Very powerful suction apposed to other similar stick vacs , quieter than other brands , very long life on battery which lasts over half an hour , very good filtration compared to others , very very light and maneuverable.

Very Disappointed - Broke way too easily – Bought one of these brand new for around $200 (I think?) late 2009, seemed OK for a year or so though I was always unimpressed with the suction from the start. Also the way some parts detach & reconnect was always dodgy, will never buy any Nilfisk product again (even though I believe they do offer other higher range normal type vacuum units that are apparently pretty good). Relatively lightweight, battery charge seemd to last OK. Detachment/reconnect options dodgy & weak, some parts of the handles too weak & easily broken, unimpressive suction.

decided to buy the Nilfisk Handy 2-in-1 25.2V cordless vacuum. Wow! This little machine is fantastic! I cleaned about 50 sqm (laminated flooring, rugs and carpet) on the residual 'out of box' power. Even without charging the unit it had great suction and collected cat hair and very fine dust extremely well and with ease, without having to go over an area time and time again. The operation is relatively quiet in comparison with some other machines I tested.The handheld is useful for smaller jobs like cleaning the car. The only issue for me is the release button for emptying the dust container - you need to be careful when you open it, as the container separates from the top easily and can fall on the ground creating a bit of a mess. Once used to it, there is no problem. Emptying the dust container is simple as is cleaning the filters. The lights on the head are more or less a standard on most similar machines these days, as is the power/charge indicator, so while they are not exclusive to Handy, they are none the less worth mentioning, as they are very useful. The handle is foldable, making the unit quite easy to store. Overall, a great and quite versatile machine, which is already making our lives easier. I bought it on sale - at 37% discount of the usual price it's an even better value. Great product – This is a great vacuum. 34min battery time at full power is awesome for this type of vacuum. Only takes 3.5 hours to charge battery. Amazing suction. Light weight. on the market. The waste compartment is small so requires frequent emptying but you would expect that. Only drawback for some maybe that there are no attachments for the dust buster to do certain areas in the car etc. Overall I would recommend this product to anyone.
