Ninja Blast Max Cordless Portable Blender

I bought this from JB-Hifi two weeks ago, I had chosen a different brand/model but the salesperson told me these were much more popular. The ads etc claim it can "make snow out of ice" and "quickly make frozen-fruit smoothies". It will not hold a charge, when I try to blend anything like ice or frozen fruit (even partially thawed and cut finely) the unit stops working and says it is overheating or the blades are stuck. It can't handle basic blending. Overheating means over an hour of shutdown. It has a bulky charger cord and plug which doesn't fit anything else (not a USB "C" charger as advertised). So you have to carry the bulky cord/charger with you everywhere. I contacted the manufacturer by email as suggested when I googled the issues and asked if they can help. No reply. As soon as I can get back to JB Hifi I will be returning it for a refund. Total waste of money.
