Ninja Crispi 4-in-1 Portable Glass Air Fryer

This is a very simple and easy to maintain appliance. Positives: + Good quality + East to use and clean + Flexible cooking Negatives: - Maybe slower than some other air fryers? I saw one of these on-line and was therefore interested to see it hands-on at our nearest Costco. After doing a bit of research we decided to buy one and was surprised to see that Costco was the cheapest - as long as you elect for home delivery.

First impressions were positive. It arrive (free delivery) within a couple of days. It was in a box, in a box, and all of the items, including the glass containers were well-packed.

One of the things that attracted us was the flexibility of using either a small (1.4 litre) or large (3.8 litre) container. As 'empty nesters' we don't always have a lot to cook so this is a most useful feature.

So far we have used both the Air Fry and Recrisp features. They both work well. The Recrisp was used on some day-old pastry and it came-up magnificently. The device was also amazingly quiet at this and you could hardly hear it operating. The Air Fry setting has been used on a variety of frozen goods and, again, it works very well. It may be ever-so-slightly slower than the larger and older air fryer that it replaced but no significantly so.

Cleaning is one of the real benefits of the Crispi. Just put the glass container and crisper plate into the dishwasher after removing the excess grease/ oil. It was far easier to wash than our old air fryer and also far better at pouring-off the hot oil before it hardens.
