Purchased the Ninja DT200ANZ Foodi XL Air Fry Oven for $450 from Harvey Norman in May 2023. For two and a half years it performed flawlessly, was easy to use and keep clean, (but difficult if oil splatter is left to bake on the aluminium interior)… Read more
and could toast six hamburger buns at a time. A few days ago it stopped working. It would go into a lockup with only the interior light weekly pulsating, with no function from any of the controls. We had to switch it off at the GPO switch. When switched back on, it worked for 5 seconds then went back into the same fault state. Tried it from another powerpoint, but got the same result. $450 for 2.5 year life span is not good. Just bear in mind there are a number of different models within the Ninja Foodi XL range, often distinguished by the retail price. So these reviews may be for different models, not just the DT200ANZ.
Follow-up · We replaced the Ninja DT200ANZ Air Fry Oven with a 30 L Smith+Nobel TH-AFO30BL Air Fryer Oven. The old Ninja was more elegant looking, with a friendlier control panel and an extra year of warranty, but the Smith+Nobel is bigger and more than $200 less expensive. It also has a digital control panel, but it is less sensitive and often takes several… Read more
I want to give minus stars. Absolutely rubbish product that takes so long to cook anything. Has broken down twice. For the first one they charged me $40 for a replacement and then that broke down too and it’s just out of warranty. PLEASE DO NOT BUY Show details
ive had this oven for about 12 months and although its quick to cook food it has a couple draw backs. Trying to keep this thing clean is imposable, although they say not to cook with olive oil, it still gets an oil build up. with the interior being aluminium its wrecked within an few cleans. To get the buildup off you need to use an heavy duty… Read more
cleaner but this also wrecks the surface. the surface needs to be a enamelled type of surface that won't get ruined by cleaning. eg same and the trays provided. The second issue is the fan speed its way to fast, you dont need the fan that fast with certain foods, the only option is to use reheat which has no fan.
Hi, We bought a Ninja Foodi a couple of months ago. We had a little air fryer and thought this was the answer to the air fryer and wall oven. We are happy with the way the Ninja Foodi cooks, but cleaning it is a nightmare. I have looked on so many sites regarding cleaning and tried it all, but I can't get the oven clean. Such a shame. Do not buy this ninga – I’m so sorry but this is the first ninja product that I do not like. No matter how much I followed the directions, I ended up being so embarrassed at at least 3 or more dinners I had prepared for company and many more for my husband and myself. That is why I do not recommend this product.
Ninja Oven/ Air Fryer – I purchased this oven in November 2021. It is disappointing when you use this as an oven, and it works great, but then eight months after the warranty and the oven will not even turn on. Fortunately I still have the household oven or I would be stranded with no oven at all. I will Definately not be buying again as it is not worth that expense for… Read more
not even 3 years. It roughly worked out to 136 dollars a year I paid. There was no signs of issues with the oven, I used it 2 days ago and it was fine, then went to turn it on last night and nothing at all would turn on. I changed powerpoints and everything. So disappointed Will definitely not recommend to family or friends or anyone else.
POORLY MADE TO CLEAN – I bought the NINJA DT200 seven months ago I am so disappointed, as cleaning it when there are some spills is impossible ! Because of the coated material inside of it, everything sticks and stays put !! So I have stains, some of the coated paint product has come off as well I am not happy at all, it cost me $402.78 I am waiting to hear back from… Read more
Customer Service, I can imagine that will take time would like a refund But I won't be buying another one or recommend this
Impossible to keep clean! – I love the cooking side of this air fryer but as for keeping it clean it fails big time. I wipe it out after every use with hot soapy water and it doesn’t remove anything. It is impossible to get the stains out of it and I have used everything possible that says it will remove the grease stains. If you like a nice clean looking oven, keep well away from this Ninja Air Fryer or you will regret ever buying it. Show details
An oven replacement! – I've had this oven styled air fryer for 7 months now and don't remember the last time I used our actual oven. The foodi air fry oven cooks much quicker, has multiple levels for large amounts of food and everything comes out cooked really nicely. The only negative is the cleaning of the back wall around the fan, but I've never enjoyed cleaning any oven or air fryer! Still much easier than any others I've used. Well worth the purchase. Makes the best toasted sandwiches – I was so against airfryers and really didn't see the excitement about them but maybe that is because I bought one of the very first ones out and hated it. I bit the bullet and thought I would give them another go. We decided on this one and love it. It is so easy to use, plenty of space and make the best toasted sandwiches. We have cooked so much in it now and feel so much happier knowing it is much healthier to eat. Show details
It’s replaced my gas oven – I’m loving this ninja oven at the moment. Have made cakes, apple pies, eye fillet and lamb chops. Toast is great and the reheat function means I can refresh my day old bread rolls. Only issue is cleaning, not a user friendly experience as it’s fiddly. I do wipe this down after each use.
