Turned a negative into a huge positive – I had my Ninja Woodfire pizza oven delivered and it was faulty. Wouldn’t even turn on. I called the customer service team to arrange a refund and collect faulty unit. I was on the phone for over 40mins and received an email acknowledging my unit was faulty and I would get a refund. Ticket was closed today saying DHL delivered it - yes they did on the 19/11 and it’s faulty. I called again Monday 25/11 and they asked me to prove I had destroyed the machine by cutting the power cord, to get my refund, but I was responsible for disposal of the item. Kristy in customer service phoned today apologising profusely and said there was a missed opportunity for troubleshooting, a special safety switch on the machine. They sent me a full refund and a brand new machine. Very happy and can’t wait to use it when it arrives.
It’s GAME CHANGER – I love my Ninja woodfire Electric BBQ Grill & Smoker. It’s such a cool piece of equipment with 7 in one portable electric grill. Love the multi-functions it has and the food tastes great. The options are so impressive. You can smoke, airfry, roast, bake, dehydrate, grill, reheat.Another amazing feature is adding the woodfire option to any cooking method. The ninja comes with 2 packs of wood pellets. Basically, No messing about with adding charcoal, worrying about the temperature of the inside, is it too hot/too cool? Simply marinate and put the meat, chicken, fish or burgers in there, sit next to it and enjoy! Very easy to set up, just attach the handles and clean the grill plate before use. We used it tonight for burgers and they turned out so juicy and delish. BBQed meat is also as good - though the ninja makes it so much easier! The temperature is even throughout the grill, there is no thing to worry about plus the timer makes it even easier. The feature that I love is that it has different settings and also tells you when to flip items inside and takes that into consideration for your cooking times. The smoker feature is an fantastic addition and we have had a great experience experimenting with smoked chickens and drumsticks. We were really impressed as they came out really juicy, with a tasty crispy skin. We also air fried French fries and some dumplings and they came out excellent! Super easy and excellent results. Whether you are grilling in patio, garden or backyard its highly recommended.
Brilliant Woodfire BBQ Cooking – Have to admit, I’m the Ninja brand number one fan. Virtually everything they release to the world-wide home appliance market is either an existing concept (air fryer) taken to the next level with design tweaks or truly innovative and dead clever (Creami ice cream maker). After buying a double drawer air fryer, ice cream maker, Tilt fryer/grill and multi-cooker that are all brilliant, I can’t get enough of the brand. Now this newest addition to outdoor cooking- the Ninja Woodfire Electric BBQ is the GOAT. It’s effectively an electric BBQ that has pellet smoking function and can air fry and roast into the bargain. The versatility is vast, and being able to infuse smoke into any type of food on any of the cook settings produces amazing results. The pellets are easy to buy and go a long way with just tiny amounts needed.
I have cooked all the “normal” meat dishes like pork belly, steaks and burgers with seriously great results, but also did whole trout and a side of salmon and it resulted in perfectly moist and juicy results with crisp browned finish. I found the Airfry setting with smoke the perfect method for all the above dishes. The Grill setting of direct heat was maybe a bit overkill. Or maybe that’s just me? But I rate this as the all-time best product ever bought. 1 month in and it’s taken over as the centre of my cooking. I’m a retired chef and not easily impressed.
Cleaning is much easier than most BBQs with hoods. The grill plate and air fry basket clean are a breeze. The hood does get baked-on grime, but I used a foodsafe spray dishwashing liquid degreaser that is non-corrosive that cut right through and it just then needed a wipe out.
Now Ninja Australia has to rely upon their parent company for release of new gear, and can’t compete with the big brands for marketing here. So we sometimes miss out on the latest models and new products. This great appliance had already had an upgraded tricked up model in the USA, UK and other regions that had a heap of extras like an app to better manage the cooking process. We can’t get it here yet and may not ever see it as there are no plans for release. I’m so obsessed that I thought I’d buy it through Amazon UK - but before completing the purchase found that I couldn’t download the app here in Aus. Even tried a VPN to bypass the block, but no go for Apple devices. So while happy as clam with the current model, I’m looking with appliance envy at the big guy and waiting in hope to see it here. Rats!
Ninja also make a drink maker that looks amazing, a Woodfire Oven that’s getting 5 star reviews, different models in the Creami range and loads of different gear that we might never see here. Such a shame as this brand leads the field with top class products.
Still, what we have already is I think the absolute best of breed compared to their competitors. Give this appliance or any Ninja product a try & guarantee u will also be a brand fan like me.
