Nuco Gen 5 a piece of crap what a wasted time – Not impressed I read the reviews and there were nothing like what I experienced I had a 5 amp it tells you it goes for a four lights in 25% stages it gave false readings and it took like 20 hours and it still did not fully charge my battery I had it for five weeks took a back thank god I got my money back from The good Guys Repco had to put up a bit of a fight they gave back so I went for Victor on I paid a premium price and it's worth it had full control of the app Bluetooth what should be an everything these days I hope you listening guys Gen 5 Bluetooth anyway I would not recommend that one the first one what I'm talking about not the second one the second one is wonderful so I would not recommend it I think the highest 10 Amps what is still not good enough these days especially when it comes to high capacity batteries look away from this brand to the company makes better changes I think victon is one of the best brands or better anyway that's my review took a lot hard work
This works, where my Projecta charger wouldn't – One of my cars has a Optima Red Top AGM (Absorbent Glass Matt) battery in it. My Projecta 16 Amp refused to charge it, regardless of what setting it was on. It just gave a "Fault" warning. I knew my battery was okay, so I tried a Noco Genius 10, from Supercheap Auto. I was assured it would work. It did! And so easily too. I just set it to AGM and it did its own assessment and charged accordingly. It's small, easy to use, and after 1 year, has been very reliable. It was worth every cent.

An effective piece of kit – This was an emergency buy, as my Projecta 8 amp charger died in a caravan park. I had limited options and ended up buying the first one l saw which was the Noco 10 genius ftom Supercheap auto. I am pleased l did. My deep cycle batteries had totally discharged. It took about 7 hours to slowly bring the batteries back to 10.5v and then another 24 hours plus to get the batteries to 100%. The controls are a bit difficult to follow but the only option is to connect it to the battery and let it work it out, so nothing to worry about really. So far, it's running the camper very well, with power to spare so I recommend it. For the money, it's seems to be a very effective piece of kit.
Purchased in for $171.
