Great Bike, Work the brakes hard – The bike is great all over. For the price it holds up to an Avanti Hammer S2 reasonably well. Brakes: Did take some tweaking though. may need to tweek the rear as it bounces back pretty hard but is a very comfortable ride. Tyres: best tires and wheelset in the range, amazing grip and really good on turns. Frame and Feel: I actually went to purchase a different bike and then sat on this and decided this was the ride frame for me. Slightly more downhill focus than is competitors shocks work well. My frame is an XL running 29ers. Gears: SRAM SX 1 x 12 is great but because of the massive range i found myself not being able to get into higher ear quite as fast as i like.
Things to upgrade: Pedals, stock plastics will just lose grip, invest in a good pair. Brake levers feel a bit long as you have to squeeze hard at first (i did some tinkering and adjusted them to the position I prefer.
