Given One As A Gift – Used it maybe 5 times, it only slices/grates a limited number of vegetables and not good at that. Does not lock onto a counter, haven't used it in a long time, tired of wasting my time. Show details
hunk of junk! – Bought this from the Post Office Specials bin. The handle falls off every couple of revolutions. It should be metal but it is only cheap plastic and supposed to slot into a square section but does not hold. It does not stick to the counter. It should have a clamp instead. Didn't even bother to clean it after first use. I just threw it into the… Read more
bin. I didn't want to give it to Vinnies and give another person the same heartache! If I could give it less stars, I would have! Save your money for something else. This is junk!
Great for shredding Pawpaw – Got tired of slicing my finger tips & getting blood on shredded Pawpaw. Had to rinse hard-won shreds just to make Papaya pickles. This device certainly saved a lot of rinsing & bandages! Show details
Missing parts – Bought this product on sale from an Australia Post Shop. It wasn’t even worth the sale price and just created work with no dividend. When I got it home it had 3 of the grater blades instead of 3 different blades (slice/shred/grate) as shown on the packaging. I took it back and got a replacement. When I got the new one home and unpacked it it… Read more
was missing the handle. I had checked the blades were ok whilst at the store but wasn’t thinking about the handle. In both instances the packaging had not been tampered with so it wasn’t the result of customer actions in-store. I’m giving up and taking it back for a refund. Too hard!
Not worth the money – I got my unit on sale and after using it, it's certainly not worth the money no matter what you pay for it and I got mine for $20 and it was a waste of money, first of all as soon as it hits a snag it comes off the bench and doesn't stay stuck, The handle leaves a bit to be desired if it starts to struggle with grating a carrot for instance the… Read more
handle feels like it will break and the unit will no longer be safe on the bench and carrots are included in the list of veg to be grated as are onions but don't bother grating onions with it because they turn to mush and water and that's even using the large grating attachment, overall I am disappointed its very cheaply made and very plasticky almost feels like a childs toy and certainly performs as if it's a childs toy.
Chinese RUBBISH – ZERO star if possible Food gets caught between "cones" & body of unit ANY more than gentle pressure on food and handle becomes disconnected Does NOT process ALL food through input aperture Difficult to clean/wash RETURNED FOR A REFUND. Show details
USE a sharp knife. Duh. :-)
Doesn't lock to any surface – Doesn't lock to any surfaces but is pretty good as a grater if someone holds it steady - kind of defeats the purpose though. We aren't fans of the slicer blade but so far the grater blades haven't been a disappointment. All in all, glad I bought it on clearance Show details
Useless – Absolutely useless. Whilst grating zucchini, I put just a little bit of pressure on grater and handle came off constantly. After attempting to grate, the zucchini, it came out as mush. Poorly constructed Show details
