received even an acknowledgement !! don’t really know why no one wants to reply, probably embarrassed what a load of rubbish their cab app is, with rude staff. anyway just if you’re looking for a trustworthy cab service, don’t use ola, biggest rip of load of rubbish i’ve ever paid for, and i had paid a lot to them over the years before this happened, now they’ve BANNED me for using the app, just says ‘not available in your area’

Absolutely third class – Absolute third class company with third class technology. Nearly 7 months trying to sign up but keep having issue with their technical side. Customer support is another rubbish. Pointless and hopeless. Even London operation manager (who I’ve spoken on phone) is another hopeless guy. Now he’s hiding from my phone call

By far the most unreliable service – Ola is by far the most unreliable car service there is. I’m unsure why it’s still operating, the drivers never drove towards you & this is a daily occurrence. I’ve discontinued using this poor service

Over charging by leaving the meter running after drop off – I was over charged for a journey that went on past my actual destination. It was 3 km further, resulting in a 50% greater charge. The confirmation email had a map which clearly shows the cab went to my actual destination, where I got out, and then went on for another 3 kms (see attached map). wondered if this was this deliberate or accidental? Either way, I got overcharged.

The intention became clearer when I tried to follow-up with the driver through FaceBook Messenger. I found him; same name, and I recognised his face and manner in photos. He did not reply to my message. However the Ola app mysteriously stopped working completely. I can only guess that he has blacklisted me; blocking access to the complaints process, which is through the app. I don't think it was an accident as the driver seems to be a helicopter pilot; not one to make such a dumb mistake.

I recommend that you avoid using Ola as my experience looks like a deliberate scam for overcharging.

to go online then my account was not working.

Mean when they add vehicle, they did something with my account and my account did not goes online.

Now I call they and tell them the issue but unfortunately some mentally disabled people work there , they give me ticket number again and again but no one concern about the issue or solution.

I mean they think ticket is issue and job is done.

After a week I call and talk supervisor, he escalate the issue with some higher team (may be Narindra Modi) and then the ask me upload your all documents again.

Mean my driver account they have to redo everything and then my account will be work.

Any how it's 2nd month and nothing happens positive.

By the way I leave the hope from that side also.

Multiple cancellations by drivers – I had 2 drivers cancel on me this evening. Everytime I try to book on Ola, the drivers cancel when a better ride comes along. Ola you have 0 control of your drivers. Booked with Uber and car showed up in 5 mins. Shame on you Ola.

Lost Belonging – I left a jacket in the ola, have contacted them multiple times via their messages, no response, except they close my ticket as resolved!!! Last message I received from them advised that apparently they cannot get in contact with their driver & I could get in contact with authorities who can then contact them & then they can assist!!! Honestly ridiculous!!! I will not be using them again!!!

Cancellation fee charged with no reason – The app itself is slow. No driver accepted to take my trip, but once I cancelled it, there is a pricey Cancellation fee charged $10. However, in the end they waived for me, and told me it’s my fault due to the cancellation policy. Already deleted this app. Never try again.

Bureaucratic incompetence! – They ask you to update the driving documents, and you receive a confirmation that they have been approved. confirmation, and had to send the documents 3 times. In the end they said that the documents were being reviewed within 3 days. It's a joke because they were already confirmed earlier in the week. The utter frustration of dealing with people with no clue how to fix a problem and waste my time sorting a problem that's their system's fault.

Terrible, worst ever service – Booked my ride, tracker showed the car that accepted my fare 6 minutes away, for the next 5 minutes he was moving away from me. 5 minutes later he cancelled the fare. Next car same thing. Will never use again.

Left Stranded – Upon discharge from overnight stay in Hospital Emergency , booked Ola. On the way home, had to repeat three times to the driver, can I stop and buy a newspaper at the petrol station, to which he finally agreed to. the driver, who twice reported that there were no keys.

Contacted the hospital and the petrol station but no keys handed in.

13 emails later, it was clear that the driver had no incentive to return as it would have been at his cost and time. I believe the keys were in the car and disposed of.

Care factor from driver and Ola absolutely zero.

It’s a risk to travel with Ola because if you have an issue, you can forget it.

Basically all they have done is to block the driver from any of my future bookings.

I requested the drivers details and a direct phone number so I can report it to the police and a response as to why the driver left me. No answers provided.

I then had to walk home and cost to replace my car and other keys approx $900.

I did not drop the keys and they were not left at the hospital nor the petrol station.

I believe in karma.

Driver accepted ride then cancelled it – Morning booking accepted by driver then he cancelled it. When I went to rebook, fare was doubled. Chose not to go with Ola but with Swan Taxis who were cheaper

rang me and told us where he was waiting, about 100 metres from where we stood. Struggling towards the car, as we entered, he demanded to see the request on my phone. Because of poor reception, I couldn't reload the Apps. He took my phone and tried, and he insisted that my phone is faulty. He informed us that if he can't see the request on the Apps, he won't drive. After trying for several minutes, he demanded that we leave the vehicle, and he cancelled the ride! We were appalled, and practically got kicked out of his car through no fault of our own. My wife was feeling very sick by then, and decided to take a taxi home instead. Such appalling service. I have completely deleted the Apps, and vowed never to use them again.

Ola aap ans services are best but customer service are so much bad – If you report anything about rider thet Block driver instead of rider. So now most of the driver ignoring the incident and threat behave from rider. Sometime we prefer other apps instead of Ola because they don't listen us at all.

hour and waited for 30-40 minutes while he shopped. all fine so far. Once I've completed the trip the system correctly calculated all the distance and time and paid me. BUT, after his complaint, someone within ola changed the pricing back to "original" destination, and took 95% of the entitlements from me! DAY-LIGHT ROBERY! this is also done without telling me about their action! Such a disgusting behaviour! And even now, several weeks later, they are keep saying "can not change the system", which is absolute bs - the system calculated correctly originally, and they would be able somehow (even manually, if requires) to apply the correct data.

I do urge everybody do not use this "operator".

Driver did not return my belonging after calling Ola and writing to them – The driver didn’t answer my call as my belonging had slipped out of my bag when we nearly met with an accident. I called Ola and wrote to them, however, that said they cannot contact the driver and asked to to file a police complaint. Since then they h w but responded to my emails and messages on social media platforms. They view they message but they chose to ignore me.

Lucky to still have both feet – The driver spoke on the phone to someone the entire time. He dropped me off at my location and he rushed me out the car, I stepped out of the car and the driver just sped off. I moved out of the way just before he ran over both my feet.

I never asked the driver to change the route or raised my voice at him. The driver decided to drop me at the freeway entrance as he felt threatened by me.

The driver was yelling constantly and kept repeating that he felt unsafe with me being in his car. He then dropped me in a quiet street of west Melbourne at 3 in the morning and took off.

Ola charged my card for the trip that was never completed and the driver got away with it.

I felt scammed by ola cabs. Deleting this app

Poor Pay – Even though this app pays the best out of all the 3 big Rideshare apps its still terrible. 70% of fares are unprofitable & would be doing for free if i complete them so i cancel or let them pass. Passengers want all this services & here i am on $10 an hour, on a good day. Simply not worth my time driving for the pittance $$ I receive…
