coating and then some sort of resin on the bottom and mine may have had a fault as that shouldn't happen. I contacted Oliveri- I didn't have my receipt, but I had proof of installation, the stone people and the kitchen company. That wasn't good enough. I was accused of pouring hot water in the sink and that's when I started asking myself, if it was just me? It's a sink, water goes in the sink, What the???? Where am I supposed to pour water?? Why are they asking me this question? Then I was asked if I threw something in the sink from a height? Another Bizarre question, why would I throw my dishes in the sink? wouldn't they break. I have a $90,000 kitchen, why would I try to destroy my sink and therefore my new KItchen? They came back to me with no receipt - NO WARRANTY. I guess I should have read all the reviews because had I read all your bad reviews I would have understood what I was dealing with. And FYI Oliveri there is no way you are meeting all the Australian Standards, the sink isn't a disposable product, it isn't fit for purpose and most definitely doesn't meet Australian Standards and if I wanted the headache of taking you to court, I WOULD DEFINATELY WIN! Be careful, buy from a more reputable company........Read the reviews, you are not buying a quality product and even if they replace the product for you, what about the damage it will do to your kitchen? Be better than me - do some research and then go for another brand!
This lovely sink can now easily be cleaned! – Well, I'm afraid we were sucked in to buying this sink 3 years ago by its great looks. However, in no time at all, it displayed ugly grey staining and no matter what approach to cleaning we have tried, all have failed. Simple solution for Oliveri - DON'T SELL THIS SINK! Oliveri has amended its cleaning advice. Diluted household bleach is now approved and it works excellently!! At last we have a great sink!
Really disappointed in sink – Was so excited to get this sink and I always clean it out and am very particular with it. Only had it installed 7 months and the sink is very discoloured and marks very easy. Really disappointed and wish I had gone with the black version not the white. Show details
Freaking out – Should have read the reviews properly before purchasing. I'm not sure what website I originally read the excellent reviews on but we are about to install our Santorini and I'm already regretting it based on what I've read.
Disgusting product – Sink cracked in between the two sinks due to hot vegetable water about 2 weeks after being installed. It was a fight to have it replaced but i kept fighting as with the expense of it i would expect it to last much longer. 9 months later i am disappointed with how disgusting the sink looks right in the middle of the focal point of our brand new home. Don’t waste your money – Had the sink for three months it looks terrible with marks all over it. Even leaving a plate on it wet will stain it. Contacted customer care and they said marks and scratches are not covered under warranty. I was told to fill sinks up with water and add dishwasher tablet this has made the sinks worse. Marks, scratches and wearing – This sink sustains marks from washing up fry pan or wok. It always looks grubby and is wearing on the edge. Have been advised to soak overnight when necessary with a dishwashing tablet - that would be required every day!!!! Very disappointed that such an expensive sink is such high maintenance, looks terrible and quality is doubtful.
