60 years as a plumber and my own NP602 S/S 15 year old sink gets a rust hole, no rust in any other part of the sink except in this location on cage flange and sink where water sits around groove on both sinks when you empty sink. I lodged what I believed was a genuine warranty claim as quality stainless sinks in a kitchen or laundry environment… Read more

do not rust through, no corrosive substances stored under sink normal detergents used in sink. Lodged warranty claim with Oliveri who out source warranty claims to T2 Services. T2 services disallowed claim because something I did caused it. In my opinion don't waste money on expensive sinks as the cheaper sinks seem to last as long as the more expensive brands and the lifetime warranty in my case was useless as it only covers manufacturing defects found when sink is delivered or not long after, not even a pro rota payment offered and my advice very carefully examine your sink the day it is delivered for any blemish or sign of surface rust especially area where plug hole cage goes and is hidden by flange when installed also it was suggested from T2 services the mark would have appeared prior to installation or not long after installation by which time it would have been hidden under flange rubber also it could be possibly caused by an external factor not long after installation.

A real disappointment – Had this sink installed in our renovated kitchen in 2019. Can't keep it clean - has marked and scratched and the water pools on the drainer and won't drain away. I thought I was buying a quality product. The previous Oliveri sink had been in situ for nearly 30 years - we should have kept it. It looked better on the day of removal than this sink looks after just a few years. Would never buy Oliveri again. Show details

Really Love the Size and Functionality – Oliveri Nu-Petite Double Bowl Inset Sink With Left & Right Drainers NP653 I'd wanted sink with two drainers and a 3/4 sink on one side. Instead I bought the NP653 which has double sinks, double drainers, and includes a plastic colander insert and bamboo chopping board. I also purchased the optional utility cover. This is a larger sink set up… Read more ·  1

(1550mm long), and will be great for the entertainer, or a family. Bowls are 30l and 28l. It takes a 3 litre saucepan comfortably. With the rounded sink edges it's easy to clean, and drains well. Best used with a decent pull out sink mixer. The functionality with the chopping board insert, colander, and optional utility tray is excellent. When I've had a lot of dishes that needed a light wash, I've used the utility tray as an extra drainer. The chopping board insert and utility tray allow for extra preparation space, which is a great feature when you need all the bench space for other kitchen tasks. Note, the chopping board and colander fit on either side, but are designed to go on the sink with the diagonal corner (28l), as the board has a diagonal to match. The optional steel drainer ONLY fits the larger 30l bowl. Please refer to the photos. You can also sit the colander in the sink by itself, but it sits best at the front of either sink, or at the back of the main bowl (30l).

All wooden chopping boards should be lightly oiled, wiped dry, and left for 24 hrs before first use. This helps prevent moisture warping the board. Furthermore, any wooden board should be allowed to dry thoroughly, rather than remain in a wet environment. So if you leave your chopping board on the sink permanently, it will go mouldy. You CANNOT put a wooden board in the dishwasher. Plastic, and glass chopping boards have their place (I put my plastic board in the dishwasher all the time), but generally wood is the recommended medium for chopping boards. If you want more info on chopping boards, please google it, I'm not an expert.

It is possible to scratch the sink. Our sink somehow got a few scratches during installation. I have enhanced the photo to show the small scratches. Scratches seem to be a common complaint for modern sinks. The sink is 304 grade SS, which is the industry standard and can be corroded by prolonged exposure to salt, acids or chlorine based products. Shouldn't be an issue if you are rinsing your sink properly when exposed to such. And use a non bleach cleaner. Otherwise look for a 316 SS sink, which has greater resistance, and costs more. This is why I gave the Nu-Petite 4 stars, rather than 5. It isn't a cheap sink, should they have used 316 SS??? Specifications: 1550 mm long x 500mm deep x 20mm high, 304 grade, 18/10 polished stainless steel (0.8mm thick) Main bowl 30l, second bowl 28l Bowl dimensions: 380 long x 420 deep x 218 high Included accessories: 1 x Chopping Board, 1 x Colander, 2 x Designer Waster.

Optional extras: Main Bowl Utility tray: SS, 435W x 395H x 30D mm (RRP $145)

Scratches and stains – I’ve had this sink in my new kitchen for over 6 months. From the first time I washed up in it, scratches appeared and now the draining board has stains. Very disappointed as the style and concept is good but the quality of the stainless steel is poor. Show details

Mouldy chopping board – We renovated our kitchen and put in an Oliveri sink 12 months ago. The chopping board [which we do not use] is not of good quality and for some reason gets mouldy!! [have photos] We have so far had two replacements and both times mould developed on the board. Warranty department was not helpful and seemed to allocate blame to me. Would not purchase again. Show details

Deep spots everywhere on Kitchen Drain, Terrible purchase – We purchased a NP671 sink from winning appliances on 29/12/17. Just in 4 weeks of use I noticed deep spots which seem to be signs of damages to a significant area of the top layer of the right hand drain. I purchased Oliveri because it was recommended by both my plumber and winning appliances and paid a premium over a normal Clarks or Mondella… Read more

sink trusting this to be of great quality. It is very disappointing to see a damage like this happen in just 4 weeks. I had an old sink which came with the house when we bought it which may have been nearly 25 years old and had no rusts or signs of corrosion. It is really disappointing to see this happen to a premium brand you purchase primary expecting great quality. Only now I read through product reviews and it appears that Oliver sink users are pretty much complaining about similar issues. I wish I head read it before the purchase.

I have emailed pictures to the sales and Services departments and hoping the customer service is as good as the premium price they charge.
