dash to Bunnings at 8pm at night to find something suitable. The stone masons arrived the next morning to cut our benchtop so we could fit our new sink and we then noticed that it also had a chip on one edge and also the sink was warped/bent in the middle. The sink had to be siliconed to the bench with neutral cure silicon as we were advised that the tape would not be strong enough to hold the sink and flatten it out. They also had to put a full bucket of water in the right hand sink and also one on the drainer to hold the sink flat so that hopefully it wouldn't pop as the silicone was curing. We had to leave it 24 hours before the plumber could hook up our sink. The plumber advised me that he hooked up a sink a couple of weeks previously and this sink was also badly warped and it was also an Oliveri. I contacted Oliveri to advise of our issue with our sink a week ago, and to date I have not received any answer from them. I will never buy Oliveri again.

Fantastic – Best sink I have ever had. This is the second home I have installed this in. Love it. No stains and hardly ever have to clean. Always looks great! Show details

This lovely sink can now easily be cleaned! – Well, I'm afraid we were sucked in to buying this sink 3 years ago by its great looks. Oliveri has amended its cleaning advice. Diluted household bleach is now approved and it works excellently!! At last we have a great sink!

Great sink. No issues at all – I've had the single bowl black Santorini sink in my newly renovated kitchen for 6 months now and I love it. After reading reviews after purchase I was very nervous around the cracking and marking issues but I haven't had any issues. Really disappointed in sink – Was so excited to get this sink and I always clean it out and am very particular with it. Only had it installed 7 months and the sink is very discoloured and marks very easy. Really disappointed and wish I had gone with the black version not the white. Show details

Freaking out – Should have read the reviews properly before purchasing. I'm not sure what website I originally read the excellent reviews on but we are about to install our Santorini and I'm already regretting it based on what I've read.

Nightmare after sales – Nightmare. So disappointed. Sent several sinks as a mould/ edge imperfection evident on first- showroom model in Harvey Norman where we bought it was perfect. Each replacement had same flaw. Now ongoing over 2 months. We either accept one with a fault - which they say is “within their quality standards” or refund. Show details

Not fit for purpose in my experience – Like a few other reviews have mentioned we drained hot (pasta) water into the sink and it cracked. response I suspected they do that somewhat regularly. I protested that it was a warranty issue and they will replace it at their own cost. They pushed back on this, but as soon as I got to the first step with a QCAT process, all of a sudden they were happy to pay for the installation. Again, come to your own conclusions there.

They did effectively accuse me of dropping something on the sink, which I didn't. I notice they said that to someone else here with the same issue, so obviously that's a stock response.

I paid $1700 for a double sink and mixer ... that I'm now afraid to use!

The mixer is also bad quality and I will be writing a separate negative review to cover this.

I will say that their customer service representatives are fine to deal with. The person I dealt with was always professional. I had no issues with them but there is something fundamentally broken with the product in question based on what I can see.

Disappointed – We are really disappointed bought this beautiful sink in our kitchen Reno’s has been in for 21/2 years and started leaking under close inspection it has a crack in the corner however Oliveri state that the crack is non warranty as they state a hairline crack from manufacture would have shown up earlier which they stated it is from impact. The sink has been looked after and not had anything heavy impacted to cause a crack. Show details

unlike a stainless steel sink and it looks fantastic. Other negative reviews have said the drain plug is hard to use, but I have not experienced this at all. I do use a rubber mat in the base of the sink to protect it in case something is dropped into the sink. I purchased the sink from Harvey Norman who will match any other prices, including online and I prefer to support local businesses. Highly recommend this product. I will never go back to a stainless steel sink again.

Contact distributor again with photos and was told not to put anything on the sink more than 280c (yes it’s in the fine print) I got the first sink out with the crack and tried to mark it with boiling pots straight off the stove (no marks), heat gun (no mark), soldering iron (full heat15 min) (no mark) Sent email with all the information and photos Not interested. No backup The store sold me the third for cost price Very expensive sink over $2000

This is the worst sink ever – This is the worst sink ever, it took us 3 sinks to get one that wasn't warped, mine is white and I'm sorry to say this sink stains and has grey scratches after washing stainless steel items, does not drain properly.  Show details

Unsure at this stage – Have just started using our black Santorini over mount sink. Size is great, but two issues have arisen. Firstly, the sink doesn't drain efficiently, and I have to use copious amounts of water and a brush to dispense with the water and residue. and problematic to use - have to line it up correctly and carefully (not always convenient) when inserting it, and then search around for the release button when removing it.

Disgusting product – Sink cracked in between the two sinks due to hot vegetable water about 2 weeks after being installed. It was a fight to have it replaced but i kept fighting as with the expense of it i would expect it to last much longer. 9 months later i am disappointed with how disgusting the sink looks right in the middle of the focal point of our brand new home. Show details

Don’t waste your money – Had the sink for three months it looks terrible with marks all over it. Even leaving a plate on it wet will stain it. Contacted customer care and they said marks and scratches are not covered under warranty. I was told to fill sinks up with water and add dishwasher tablet this has made the sinks worse. Marks, scratches and wearing – This sink sustains marks from washing up fry pan or wok. It always looks grubby and is wearing on the edge. Have been advised to soak overnight when necessary with a dishwashing tablet - that would be required every day!!!! Very disappointed that such an expensive sink is such high maintenance, looks terrible and quality is doubtful.

Cracked sink when pouring hot water in – Looks perfect when not in use, I emptied my hot pasta water into it and it cracked and started leaking water. Shame that a fairly new sink did this when its not a cheap sink! Should be built better. Show details

My sink cracked after 3 weeks use – Just got a new kitchen and was contemplating this or a Blanco and thought I'd support and Australian company, after 3 weeks dropped a plate and the sink cracked. Very annoying, just avoid this one if you want strength. Show details

Stunning granite sinks – I got a mega sized and a standard sized sink in my kitchen island and they're fantastic. My wife is super OCD about keeping sinks looking clean so I opted for black granite - no water marks or streaks in site! I paid a little extra to have them installed undermount and it is definitely worth it if you're trying to decide which way to go.  Show details ·  1

Disappointed – Oliveri I’m so disappointed with my new black double sink. I would never of purchased your sink if I had of seen or known that underneath on the outside of the bowls looks Terrible .Now I’m being told to paint the unsightly bowls so I don’t have to look at them every time I open the cupboard.  Show details

Great sink but the plug needs a redesign – I've had my Oliveri Santorini sink for 6 months and love it. It looks great, is easy to clean, has fantastic deep bowls that take even the biggest baking dishes and with matching black handles, is the most striking part of my new kitchen. and it is impossible to clean. I'll be contacting Oliveri to see if I can get a more sensible replacement. The old style plugs were much better.

Nicks in the sink after 2 weeks – My new white sink arrived and when I unpacked the box there was a nick on the drain side. It wasn't big and I could have lived with it but I was surprised that beneath the nick it was black. and after 2 weeks of the new sink being installed I have 3 more nicks in the surface, I don't know how they got there and they also are black within the chip and are very noticeable on the white. Maybe the black Santorini is ok but do not purchase the white.

LOVE IT!!! – I have the 1 and 3/4 bowl and whilst we did have some issues with installation (which Oliveri were very good in customer service), this sink is fabulous. is great, no issues with being concerned of chipping the benchtop, as I read lots of reviews before we installed and as I cook a lot we felt being concerned on the ability to chip the benchtop would not be a fun cooking experience.

The black sinks are awsome – We bought a stone mega bowl under mount sink in black. This product is fantastic . It doesn't leave water marks, no scratches and so easy to clean. Very Happy with our Purchase – We were looking for a black sink, to fit into our New Kitchen. I'm really happy with this sink. After viewing all of the black sinks on the market, this one had the best finish, and range of accessories available. Cost was around the median of decent black sinks.
