Be very careful regarding their returns standards. I have contacted to return a tap that was unused and uninstalled completely in tact and within their returns time frame . They have refused return although the item is in perfect condition. Show details
I would not waste my money or time on the so called quality product. The original taps coating started to peel within 5yrs so Oliveri replaced it. The replacement tap has barely lasted 2 ½ years before it has started leaking around the swivel. When… Read more
lodging a warranty claim Oliveri rejected it as they say warranty is from the purchase date of the original tap. This is a kitchen sink tap so obviously isn’t made for the purpose of a high traffic location or alternatively Oliveri chose to replace the tap under warranty with an inferior factory seconds. I have Bunnings brand taps elsewhere in my house that have worked faultlessly for a much longer period than Oliveri’s product. Avoid at all costs and purchase a cheaper Bunnings product as they last longer and have a easier replacement policy.
Follow-up · After going to OFT they were unable to remedy the issue with Oliveri so my original statement remains and I would rather buy the cheaper Bunnings tap ware that has been trouble free than spend up on Oliveri products that don’t last as long as cheaper alternatives.
I purchased this tap at the Good Guys and had it installed by a plumber. As I was using it, the water would turn on and off, then on and off. I called Oliveri and was told that their taps are not suitable to be used with off the grid water tanks, pumps or gravity fed. The person at oliveri told me to remove the water flow restrictor in the aerator… Read more
and this would correct the problem. I had a plumber out and he told me that there was no water flow restrictor in the aerator. This cost me a call out fee of $125. I am now stuck with a tap that doesn't work. Oliveri should not be able to sell these unsuitable taps in Australia as a large percentage of us only have tank water. I paid $286 for this tap, now the $125 for the plumber, and now I will need to buy another tap and incur another plumber fee to change it out.

Essentials tap ES590-p, Faulty, buyer beware – Purchased pull out Essentials tap only 6/7 month ago, pull out hose leaks as the tap is being used. Oliveri plumber came out to assess and told oliveri that there is a fault with the hose and rubber seal, water has damaged our new kitchen cabinet and floor boards by the leaking hose, Oliveri came back to us and said they stand by their product… Read more
and bad luck for us pretty much. Sent us the same tap to replace the faulty one, we offered to pay the extra cash for a different style of tap they said tough put it through your insurance. Legal action is the only way to sort this problem out unfortunately. Large companies think they can walk over anyone no loyalty what so ever.
This is what a 6 year old tap looks like. Tried contacting both Oliveri and the seller. Both won't replace. Advertised 15 year warranty only covers the cartridge - and yes that breaks too. Not worth it Show details
Avoid Oliveri like the plaque, they are beyond a joke. We purchased a number of Oliveri tapware as part of a major renovation. Three years on our three-way gooseneck is leaking and requires a ceramic tap cartridge replacement - a simple 5min job with the correct part. Only you can't source a replacement cartridge... You have to submit a… Read more
warranty claim to Oliveri because they state their taps won't leak and thus don't need replacements. Only they do.. Three months on and they have accepted the warranty work, with only a minor 8 week wait for the replacement cartridge.... 8 weeks for a replacement seal for a leaking tap is beyond a joke. Do yourself a favour and steer well clear of Oliveri.

Beautiful looking 2 tone tap – This tap was replacing a 2-tone tap that failed (Dorf Vixen that had a split hose). We could have fixed it but it wasn't that great a tap so I decided to splurge on this one. I purchased it for a few reasons - I wanted a 2 tone tap, it had to have a pull-out sprayer, it had to have good water flow (so a low wels rating) and most importantly, it… Read more · 1
needed to have a spout that swiveled 360 degrees so I could mount the controller at the front of the tap (not the side like 90% of the taps on the market). This one has a pretty good water flow and does the job well. Installed it myself after watching a few u-tube videos! I am nitpicking but my only 2 gripes about the tap (only because it was $750 and that a huge amount for a tap so here are my gripes)... it makes a whining/whistling sound when only turned on low. The sound goes when it's running on full. Secondly, even though the pull-out head is well weighted and goes back in easily, it's fiddly to seat back into the right position as it has a small cutout on the back that you need to fiddle with a bit to get it back in snugly. Would I buy it again....hmm.. well as it's one of a few 2 tone taps on the market with the features I wanted I would say yes. If I was after a tap that was all the one colour, no as I know I could get something at less than half the price that would be just fine. All that said, it's a very handsome tap.
Love this tap – I love this tap and ended up purchasing the additional water filtration system to go with it. The tap is perfect for our large kitchen sink and the ability to pull the tap down to clean vegetables ect, also great for cleaning the corners of the sink. I brought this tap to replace a Brita tap and water filtration system. The Brita system had very… Read more · 1
poor water flow when using the water filtration system. This Oliveri tap has great water flow and remains very reasonable when using the filter cold water. It is perfect for my larger sink but not sure if it would be overkill for a small sink.
Good looking tap that works as intended – We bought the same tap pictured when we renovated our kitchen. We have been using this tap for about 8 months now with no issues, no leaks and great pressure. Highly recommend the Vilo Pull Out Spray Chrome Mixer. Show details

Oliveri tap that wont retract – Just had this tap installed, and the counter weight is not heavy enough, have adjusted the position of the counterweight and its made no difference, had another tap installed at the same time, the oliveri stainless $455, works perfectly, its counterweight would be at least double of the one that does not work. waste of $1199 Show details
Poor quality black tap – Poor quality black tap with coating coming off. Oliveri did not offer to replace or fix. I do not recommend this brand. Won’t be buying any Oliveri products in the future. Very poor quality. Show details

Worst ever black goose neck tap – Worst tap ever do not purchase this product very poor quality. Black Goose Neck tap purchased less than 16 months the black coating has started to come off. 5 year parts warranty not honored by Oliveri refusing to offer resolution. Put the blame on me. Low quality item and deceiving warranty – Stay away from this made in Italy brand. Quality is very poor and the warranty is a joke. Our 6 year old $1200 Vilo Pull Out Tap Granite Black has a noticeable crack. According to the advertisement "The Oliveri Vilo Pull Out Tap comes with a 15-year warranty, along with a 10-year warranty on parts, for prolonged peace of mind." When contacted,… Read more
Oliveri customer service advised in an email: "Unfortunately, the warranty period for your tap is 5 years parts, product and labour and an additional 5 years on the cartridge only. As your tap was purchased approximately 6yrs ago, it is unfortunately out of warranty for the issue you are experiencing onsite."
Given the considerable investment in the Vilo Pull Out Tap Granite Black mixer tap, it is disheartening to learn that there is no willingness to address the issue, especially considering it falls within the broader warranty period. The warranty of 15 years is deceiving and should be reported to Consumer Protection WA.
The Oliveri tap is now in the garbage where it belongs. We have instead purchased a Japanese quality Taqua filter tap.
Looks Good, not happy with function – So I was renovating my kitchen and chose this tap as it looked the part. Its definitely good quality, but what I didn't expect or predict is water splashing everywhere because of its height. I will most likely replace this when I can afford to.
Bad quality and the warranty process is a farce – In addition to the charcoal coating coming off, our Oliveri Pepe tap started leaking 4 years after install. By the time we ordered a replacement canister and had the plumber came out for the second time - he was unable to remove the canister as the securing screw was all seized and not replaceable. We were 21 days outside of the 5 year warranty.… Read more
The warranty process is poor re the amount of information required to be provided and I was told they are very strict on the 5 years, despite me having paperwork evidence re 2 plumbing visits and ordering the canister from Oliveri themselves at 4.5 years in. The true test of a brand is when things go wrong - we have a $580 kitchen tap that lasted 4.5 years and is now a throw away with significant costs to replace re the plumbing install.
Poor quality tap, terrible customer service – Tap leaks. I've been trying to buy, yes buy, a part from Oliveri for over 2 months. They have the most difficult to deal with customer service department I've ever encountered. Does anyone know where to buy parts or am I better off buying a replacement in a different brand?
Worse tap I have had – I had a pull out spray mixer tap with a 10 year warranty. My tap was just under 5 years old when the pull out bit snapped off. It has flooded my cupboard which is the same age as the tap. I was told on the 2nd May a replacement tap would be sent out by post and it should arrive in 5 to 7 business days and I had to get and pay a plumber to… Read more
install it. I have not received the tap. I sent them a email telling them that I have not received the tap and if they could give me a tracking number. So far I have not heard from them.
Vilo Tap has lost pressure - now just dripping – Vilo Tap has lost pressure totally. Thought it was mains water works but other taps are fine. Tried cleaning the airator but made it worse. Seems to be a defective cartridge - will call service centre and see what they say as it’s just over 5 years old the tap. Other mixer taps I have had for years with no issues.
Update Vilo has provided free of charge new parts even though tap is out of warranty. So 5 starts for customer service to Vilo
Pepe series Granite coating peeling – Used for more than 2 yrs with signs of the coating peeling off despite being told by the sales that the granite coating is hard wearing. This is just not justifialbe for such a premium product. Still awaiting feedback from Oliveri team. Show details

Great unit but also a big problem – I bought one in December 2021. It suited our purposes in the kitchen very well. I do like it. Unfortunately the unit gives off a strong rubber smell and taste after just a few hours of not being used. Oliveri provided a second hose but the same problem. I traced it to the hose by filling just the hose and testing that water. The handset water did… Read more

Its strong enough to be a health issue in my view. Still trying to get Oliveri or the retailer to step up.
Beware – Essente Ss2515 tap leaked around the aerator from day one. Emails and calls directly to Oliveri repair get answered... eventually. under the fitting on the stone bench into our new cupboards. It is the plastic thread on the inside of the tap that is the failure point and again I explained this. After another month they advised they will be sending the other part to their 'service provider' ?? And they will come and replace, now coming up to Christmas and still no contact or 'service provider' appearing. Looks like we will have it repaired possibly in the new year after the kitchen was installed in September! We have to go to the bathroom to fill any pots up with water as it sprays so badly....we also installed an Oliveri sink and that is another shocker. I would avoid.
Poor quality. Paint chipping on tap – Poor quality at an expensive price. Had less than a year and the powder coating is chipping off. Considering multiple reviews are similar, Oliveri should take accountability for the poor quality instead of blaming the customer and calling it “wear and tear” Show details

Faulty design – I bought this tap around 20 months ago, and it has a couple of design flaws. One, the tap body swivel action becomes firm after several months of use, and eventually loosens the tap body. This was a recurring problem, and I had to retighten it myself several times. Secondly, the spout separates at the join in the middle. It's probably a common… Read more
body for the pull out mixer, but the spout just isn't fixed firmly enough to prevent separation. More of a cosmetic issue, this one. The tap works well when it's working well. This a brand new replacement tap. Separated in first week of use. Can't be bothered with many weeks of waiting from another one from Oliveri. They have customer service, it's just slow customer service. I won't buy another Oliveri tap. Their sinks are good though.
Its horrible – I can't believe i spent $1000 on an Oliver tap i expected it to actually function properly the counter wait is not heavy enough to retract there is not magnetic system to lock it in. What a disappointment! VT0398C-ST-BL – The Oliveri pull out mixer tap VT0398C-ST-BL was installed in my beautifully renovated kitchen by a licensed plumber in November 2019. 7 Months later, it started leaking from the handle overnight. Some water still leaked into the kitchen cupboard. I called Oliveri's customer service that morning and explained the situation. They said they would send me an email. I called again late afternoon on the way home from work to tell them I had not received their email. I was told to check my junk mail box but they would send another email. I replied to their 'second' email and send them the required plumbing and purchase invoice. Waited two days. No reply. Called again to tell them it looked like the tap was going to explode, leaking everywhere incl. from the spout. I was advised by a phone call on Friday that it was most likely the cannister, which would be sent from QLD to NSW to their plumber but since the mail had already left, it would not be posted out till Monday. I have had to turn off the taps under the sink (which means our dish washer does not work either). No cooking, no cleaning. This tap sells at $1,299. I bought it from Harvey Norman a little cheaper on special, thinking the Oliveri brand was a good brand. Now the family is eating microwave meals and take out, I worry about the kids turning on the tap even though I've told them not too, but I work full-time. Stupid me for thinking an expensive tap would be a good quality tap!!! And what a disappointing customer service..... Fingers crossed tap will be fixed before the next weekend.

unprofessional – Oliveri, if you make 3 way tap and inline filter and sell them separately, then make it very clear in the manual the type and size of every connection and pipe so customer who wanna use other filter with your tap or other tap with your filer know if they fit each other or not and what kind of adaptors needed. If your tap only fits your filter as designed, then sell them together as a whole product and make it clear as well. Show details
