Good – This camera was our introduction to the world of Digital Photography and I now ask myself how I ever lived without it. The photo's are superb (some have asked if photos were taken with a professional camera) and the size makes it very portable. My only issue is the battery life. This camera is now well over 4 and a half years old, but seems to… Read more

really chew through the batteries (maybe even more so than when it was new). We may need to upgrade soon, but if I choose a compact it will definitely be another Olympus. Great photos. Look very professional even when enlarged and printed. Battery life

Good – This would be a great camera, if there was not an issue with battery usage. The pictures it produces are always of excellent quality. We have had the camera for a number of years, and it still looks like new. It survives the rough and tumble of family life. We purchased additional card, and have never reached our limit on the number of photos… Read more

we could take. The cord that connects it to the computer, to allow us to load photos there is really easy to use. We have had trouble with battery life. We did buy rechargeable batteries, but it still goes through them very fast. Basically we come home and put them back in the recharger, every time before we use it. It switches off intermitently, but will normally always work.

Good – Pretty darn good camera when considering its aussie price of around $229 (April 2005). Perfect size for trips, takes brilliant daylight photos and with the flash quite bright it will bring up a very good photo in a completely dark (zero light) room. No sports mode and battery drain are just slight dampers on a great little digital camera that fits… Read more

perfectly into your pocket. Excellent entry level 3.2mp 3x optical camera. Fantastic auto daytime photos (superb up to A4 on Kodak premium and extremely good on everday paper as well). Easy to use. Great price! Indoor sports action shots are poor. Flash is a little too bright (this can be an advantage though, see overall comment). Movie mode is slow and no sound sucks. Battery drain is quite noticeable but invest in 4 x 2100 mh rechargeables (2 in, 2 spare) and you can live with its hunger for power.
