Olympus and have recommended it to friends and family. Trusted brand, takes decent pictures, nice compact size, easy to use software when uploading onto computer/ laptop, nice compact camera size. I like the rechargable battery very connvenient. Can sometime take its time to take a photo/ picture.

Terrible – Really upset as I paid $277.00 about a month ago and am unable to use the camera because of a faulty lense that got stuck halfway and now JB wont take it back. Would recommend SONY or CANNON anyday. This camera is really awful...Would not recommend it to anyone Bad picture quality. Faulty Lense and JB HI FI would not replace it. Overall bad experience. Buyer beware.

Terrible – I am so disappointed with this camera. I have had an Olympus camera before and it was great, so I went for Olympus again. Terrible, terrible decision! Almost every single photo I take is out of focus even if I turn the anti-shake on. I may never buy Olympus again. compact, lightweight takes terrible pictures - all out of focus & anti shake function doesn't work.

Terrible – Took the 1st one back as could not take one picture in focus, thought it was the camera since we'd had 4 Olympus' before. 2nd one no better, it is impossible to get a picture in focus. small compact camera all pics out of focus

service were very helpful by fixing the camera's problem quickly. We phoned them & discussed the lens retraction problem, then posted the camera to Sydney for assessment. They fixed it and sent it back in just a few days (the repair and shipping were both at no charge to us). The camera now works well. It is small and lightweight, ideal for taking everywhere. We have not had any trouble with it in the four months since it was fixed. As per my review below, the camera ceased working within a few weeks after we started to use it (it was purchased a few months prior to Christmas 2009). The lens would not retract. Domayne (Kotara) where we purchased the camera were not helpful at all with assisting to resolve the issue. Two different Domayne customer service people approached a week apart stated it looked like a LCD display problem even though the LCD display was not 'starry' [which evidently is what happens when the LCD is crushed/compressed]. Domayne said that Olympus would charge $45 just to look at it, but when I contacted Olympus customer service said they would assess the camera at no charge. I was very disappointed when the camera failed, and equally disappointed by Domayne (Kotara's) lack of customer service. I will now shop elsewhere for electronics. Even after repair, the camera is still a little slow during autofocus, but otherwise works as expected.

Good – Recently purchased Fe 3010 as an insurance replacement upgrade for my previous Pentax. this camera was recommneded by salesperson as value for money with a good lense.No problems so far and good pic quality.Fits nicely into my shirt pocket and the black/silver colour looks good. good compct and lightweight camera buttons on back a little small

Excellent – I love this camera very much it is just so easy to use and carry anywhere. I easily take picture with ease and I dont really have to make so much effort on focusing etc because iI can set it to automatically. But Since I used the Olympus FE-3010 I dont worry no more everything becomes a breeze when carturing those special moments.It sets itself, it has automatic face detection it even tells you outright if the picture will turn out good or not . So what more can you ask for.For a very affordable price you get the camera that is really for you. super slim design, easy to carry and user friendly

Excellent – Very simple camera, good for people who arent to fussed with fancy functions. Has iAUTO setting, which means the camera sets itself for every sence and situtaion. Beautiful clear photo, also tells you before you take the photo if its going to turn out ok. The face detection setting is green if the photo is fine to take, red if your to close for lightings not ok, too easy!!!!! Light, compact, so easy to use Nothing at all
