Olympus SP-500 Ultra Zoom

Excellent – A great camera for anyone who likes to take a good photo, but doesn't want to buy a DSLR. The camera is very light and isn't too big and bulky. This is a great camera. The zoom on it is amazing and it takes a very clear picture. we used it extensively overseas in places where you weren't allowed to use a flash and the camera still took a fantastic shot. The camera can be used in multiple modes, some for more 'professional' types, but the 'auto' function still takes a magnificent photo. Its easy to connect to your PC to download pictures. Uses four AA batteries and good batteries (we use rechargables) will last for many many pictures. The shutter speed is a little slow. The biggest memory card you can use is 2GB.

Whilst maintaining good selection of manual adjustments for the more experienced. Wife uses this camera and loves it. Very easy to use camera, lightweight, good size LCD screen good choice of modes Shutter speed a little slow.

Good – Had this camera for a year now and we are very pleased with it not had many misses very easy to see in sunlight dont need glasses to see the screen very good zoom like the feel of it large LCD screen no anti shake, must use flash
