Great small space dishwasher – I was paid to remove this 2018 build dishwasher to dispose of it. I took it home plugged it in , it worked but didn't heat. Had a look in he back and found a burnt out pressure switch in the heater, replaced part easily for $60 and now it works as it should. It is quiet and cleans very well. X Large plates have to be strategically placed… Read more

but for a 45cm space saver dishwasher you can put lots in it. I didn't rate it 5 stars as it doesn't completely dry the tops of cups etc. like other fancier more expensive dishwashers The previous owner got 5 years before a simple mechanical part wore out which I think is quite reasonable. Hope this helps

Only 4 months out of warranty – I purchased my Omega ODW300XN dish washer 7/4/21, and had it installed 31/5/21, it has been working perfectly until recently, when it started making a horrible loud noise, and does not drain the water. I am pretty upset it has broken so soon after the warranty has expired. NOTE If I leave it for 30 minutes, it does eventually drain and keep working Show details

Works well for what it is but expensive at its full price (Wait for a sale) – This dishwasher was bought for a kitchenette that had a bar fridge space and the omega 45cm dishwasher fit in there perfectly! Compared to other similar models this was the cheapest plus I got it heavily discounted. It is very noisy when the pump drains the water as many here have stated, I believe this is how it is however while washing it is… Read more

fairly quiet for a 'cheap' unit. As many have said here the drying is minimal when the dishwasher has completed a cycle however if you prop the door open and leave the dishes for a couple of hours they come out almost completely dry. It cleans fairly well so far (with the right detergent of course) even the 90min quick cycle produces sparkling clean dishes. We use it almost daily for over 8 months now with no issues. Reliability wise only time will tell but so far so good for cheap little unit. I do urge you to get in on a sale as I wouldn't be paying full price for it.

Disappointing Product so much for brand loyalty, never again – Previously owned DW300XA which was fantastic and only replaced as the baskets were rusting and cutlery dropped through it's basket. So I splurged and bought the new model 4 months ago.. It is very noisy before filling (pump sounds like it is on the way out) and the outer filter is fused to the main filter making it dificult to clean. Dishes remain soiled and wet, and doesn't heat anymore. I could cry ... I will never buy Omega again. Show details

Completely Inferior to the previous model – Purchased the Omega ODW300XN 45cm dishwasher to replace a Omega DW300XA 45cm which was around 15 years old. My previous unit was working fine however a during a wash a spatula fell through the basket damaging the upper bansket spinner ($59 part). Assuming other parts may fail a through it best to just upgrade to the newer model. There are few… Read more

options in 45cm freestanding diswashers as Smeg and Miele no longer retail them. I had considered Bosch (have 2 options) however theyve been recently caught breaching sanctions (with their components found in Russian millitary machinery.

That said the Omega ODW300XN is a very badly designed machine and unlike the previous model i understand was built by smeg, this model is from somewhere in china.

The new model has a cutlery tray instead of a basket. This results in the middle basket being lower. It would appear due to thsi that the detergent cell has been moved lower on the door. When I first used the machine I tried to run a load 4 times and the detergent was still in the dispenser. It would appear the lower dispenser location means that you cant put dinner plates in the front half of the bottom basket. WTH! So much less capacity to previous model.

In order to fit a dinner plate in the bottom basket, the mid basket needs to be on the higher rail. This allows for only short-mid height cups in the mid basket. And most glasses mugs do not sit stably.

The upper cutlery tray does not work. As the water outlet spinner is under the mid basket anything you place in the mid basket obstructs and prevents the water adequately reaching the cutlery. Even with mid basket empty it does not wash properly. I assume that this is due to insufficient pressure from the machines pump and the fact it does not get anywhere near as hot as the previous model (cold water connected) even the bottom tray does not necessarily clean on everything off plates and containers when using the most intense setting.

After 2 weeks of use (rcvd 2nd May) I would not recommend this to anyone. I am considering just buying the $59 part to fix my 15yr old dishwasher as it is far mor reliable. While I now understand the Omega brand has been sold twice in the last decade I would still not expect such an enourmous drop in product quality.

Buy something else – I liked the general features of this dishwasher and its ability to clean dishes. The controls seemed easy to understand. However, my Omega dishwasher started making grinding noises at the beginning of the dishwashing cycles and it was leaking water on the floor. Also the silver paint above the controls started coming off with cleaning. I rang… Read more

Omega Australia explaining that the dishwasher was less than three years old but they were not prepared to pay for the cost of repairs. This product is not fit for purpose and it will cost you money in the long run. Buy a better brand that will last.

This sucks. Will buy a Bosch next time – Wish we bought a Bosch like our last one. Went cheap to save some $$$ and have instantly regretted it. Dishes aren’t dry after running so you still have to dry majority of them. The tablet dispenser doesn’t open if you have dinner plates at the front. The cutlery tray at the top seemed Like a good idea until we realised our chopping boards don’t fit. Can’t wait for it to breakdown so we justify buying a new one. Show details

Great for the price – I bought this dishwasher last week from Home Clearance so she has a few dings and scratches but not where you can see them. The Eco recommended setting takes 3hrs which is quite long but considering the quiet hum, its no bother. Dishes clean and it did the job well. I only have to rinse them off a little beforehand. I recommend to leave the door… Read more ·  1

open after the wash has finished so it dries up inside. Also, you can move the top shelf up so that large dishes fit on the bottom rack (see pic with side of top shelf) The only issue with this is it then takes away top shelf space so you can't fit tall glasses. The cutlery rack is not something I'm used to but works well and fits enough in it. Great for apartment living and space saving. It looks great and so far so good.

This Product is a piece of Junk – The Machine looks great when you unpack it However you quickly realise how flimsy and noisy it really is for the money spent. Then comes the drying of the dishes non existent. I tried every cycle and when you open the machine the dishes are soaked you need to dry every dish with a tea towel not to mention the floor. I called the manufacturer and… Read more

appliances online and they advised this machine does not have a drying cycle and you need to open the door after the cycle has finished to dry dishes. Im fighting a full refund with the online store and have called them at least 10 times What a Joke !!!! Don’t buy one It’s junk

Just bought it and seems (mostly) great – Just bought it and seems (mostly) great. Slim and so fits in smaller spaces while still fitting lots of dishes (when at home all day we load it twice a day for a busy family of 5). Does not fit very large plates on the bottom shelf - you have to lay them down. It sometimes doesn't use the washing tablet and so it doesn't clean as well on those… Read more ·  1

loads. Benefits: It looks good, easy to use, has lots of different cleaning options, and it's VERY quiet (good for kids)

Compact dishwasher – Had to make room in the kitchen to fit a dishwasher. This compact one fits perfectly within the same space as a set of drawers. It is a bit narrower than a standard dishwasher but it is big enough for a small family. Has all the same programs as other bigger dishwashers and works very much the same way with similar result. But it is a bit louder… Read more

than what I would like and the drain hose is a bit shorter than normal so I had to get an extension hose. It has been a year now and haven't had any issues or leaks yet. It is a good performance and quality dishwasher if you have limited space.
