Detergent smell after wash – Really strong detergent smell and taste after washing. The smell has ruined utensils which you can't remove the detergent smell from. Do not buy. Show details

Sticky residue – Whilst the capsules certainly leave your clothes brighter, my family and I have found a sticky result on some clothes. It claims to dissolve on impact with water clearly not. This has now happened too often and I won't be buying again.

Overpowering intense fragrance that lingers – The fragrance is so intense it is overwhelming. I’m not sensitive to fragrances, so I didn’t think twice when I picked up a pack of capsules to try. I’ve used Omo before without issue. I washed my bedding- and when I opened the machine I was blasted with fragrance. I did another rinse cycle to try and tone it down, before hanging it on the clothes… Read more

line hoping it would air out. Slept in the sheets last night, and woke with a headache from the overpowering smell. My freshly washed hair smells like it, my entire body smells like it. Blew my nose because it was all I could smell. Had another shower to scrub it off, but didn’t have time to wash my hair again, and I can still smell it in my hair. I’ve never written a review for laundry detergent before, but this is insanity. I cannot imagine anyone thinking this type of overpowering stench is a good idea! I’ll be chucking the rest of the capsules, and rewashing my bedding.

Cleans well, smells bad – The capsule did well in a cold wash of full laundry. (front loader). The cleaning power was sufficient. Only problem I have with these capsules is the fragrance. I like the smell of the powder of this brand but the capsules don't have the same smell. I can't quite get my nose on the smell. It's like a chemical ginger smell with other tones. It's… Read more

just not a nice fresh or clean smell to me. Unfortunately, I bought the value pack so hopefully the smell will grow on me.

Don't waste your money! – A total waste of money. The "fragrance" is so overpowering it is making me feel sick and after taking the garments out of the washing machine I noticed a residue on my hands. I tried to wash it off and even after washing my hands with soap twice, it was still there. I can't imagine how embedded it is on my clothes that I'll now need to rewash to get rid of his smell. What a disappointment. Show details

Omo 3in1 capsules – Have been using Omo pods since they came out. The double ones were really good. Since they changed to triple pods the smell is really awful. I actually thought we had a dead rodent in the house. Back to using powder

Difficult to open packet – I like the product for washing my clothes but the packaging is not disability-friendly and was hard to open without assistance.

3 brand new packets have a rancid aromau – I bought the Sensitive packets on special, one from Coles and 2 from Woolies because I loved the fragrance. I was disappointed when I opened the first packet to find that, not only did it not have the fragrance but the aroma was rancid and I could not use them at all. I recently bought 2 more hoping it would be better but again, they both had… Read more

the rancid aroma.

There is a date stamp on the bottom and I now wonder if it is a 'use by' date or a 'manufacturer' date as I was rather rudely told by the Coles assistant when I returned the first packet.

Back to Woolies to return the other 2. Very disappointed.

Terrible for my clothes – I have been using omo for 4 years, and I love their ultimate powder and sensitive liquid detergents. The colour and texture preserve, and they are great on my skin. However, the omo pods had an overpowering smell of perfume, made my clothes feel rough and it faded my super black pants and left it with product sticking to it. It only worked great… Read more

on my white load, on 30 degrees as it made everything look brand new. I would like to add that I followed the manufacture instructions and I highly recommend to keep the temperature of the load on lower than 40 degrees.

I expected more of this product, the two stars was for making my white clothes super white again.

Perfection in a capsule! – I’ve been using OMO in my machine since I bought it, it’s been 10 years now. Tried these capsules and I’m hooked! They smell so good, they are strong so everything smells so lovely even the towels. I haven’t had any residue or problems with the disintegration of the capsule. If you have sensitivities to detergent, I would go for something not as… Read more

strong smelling. I did a huge load of towels and they smell lovely, so the scent is quite powerful. I would wash your baby clothes and underwear in OMO sensitive so it doesn’t irritate skin.

I will be buying these from now on even though they’re expensive, I assume they smell so strong to hook people into buying, because we all like our clothes to smell nice and this is one way of making something popular. I know I love things to smell good.

Very disappointed. Expensive, smelly and don’t clean properly – Did some research and these were supposed to be the best on the market. What a joke. Leaves a residue on everything ( I can feel it on my hands after hanging clothes up to dry) and the “scent” is overpowering. Yuck. And to top it off, they didn’t clean some minor stains which I would expect to come out. Overpriced and ineffective. Bad combo  Show details

Not happy with Omo Active – The capsules always seem to leave a residue on my clothes. I think it’s the outer skin of the capsule. So I have to rewash everything. They do smell though. Not happy, so back to powder.  Show details
